Areva Inn Plantation Resort Munnar with Pool by VOYE HOMES

location was nice, rooms are good, toilet was not cleaned, all the walls and corners are very dirty, looks black stain all over the restroom, looks not clean last one month, except that wonderful stay, front office staff was excellent, the lady in the front desk was so nice and keep the perfect hospitality, needs improving housekeeping.

Food needs to improve a lot. Biriyani did not like it. The breakfast buffet is not good. Lightning around the property, post 6pm you can't even go out of the hotel for a small walk, it is so dark.The property is right on the road and parking is limited longer/larger cars could have issues. There are no shops around.Payment by card is not possible and we had to pay via GPay

Ambiance and overall except room service is good. Room services didnt met our expectation. Short in electricity while kettle using, no hot water in washroom in morning.

I recently stayed in Areva inn Munnar and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. While the location and the surroundings were beautiful, there were a few issues that really impacted my stay.First and foremost, the biggest concern was the privacy issue. The room boy entered my room without permission while my partner was alone. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. I understand that hotel staff might need to check on rooms, but there should always be prior communication or consent, especially when guests are inside the room.Secondly, the behavior of the front office staff left much to be desired. The lady at the front desk was rude and unhelpful when we asked for basic assistance. Customer service is a crucial part of the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this was a major letdown during my stay.While the views and location were great, these issues with staff conduct and privacy made it a less-than-ideal experience. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve their service in the future.

Location is lovely Breakfast and food was nice and Breakfast Room overlooking the forest was nice The staff looking after Breakfast lovely and friendly But see below for ALL the problems with this overrated property !

First of all Booking.Com should review actually advertising this property due to the following appalling issues :#1 Property demanded 50% upfront payment via a phone call despite stating pay at the property #2 Advertising that they take all Major Credit for payment but Demanding Cash Payment because their machines don’t take International Credit Cards (?????)#3 On arrival the room front door lock missing and door knob fell off (had to be fixed) #4 NO Hot Water for any tap including the shower (Very Poor)#5 Tiled Floors Dirty and not cleaned properly (dust all over the tiled floor everywhere)#6 No Washing Detergent in Dispenser next to the shower (but didn’t work anyway)#7 This was their premium room (Don’t bother booking here and go somewhere else)#8 Property is overrated and hyped up and they demand a premium price for a very poor standard property.#9 If this property wants guests from overseas or their local population they need to lift their standards to pay respect to Munnar and the lovely people of Kerala

If you want a day away from city hastle or regular hotels, come to this place.

This place is very very far from the Munnar town and all the roads to reach this place is very dangerous and steep so I want suggest somebody with the family to come to this place.

Location and staffs are very friendly. Food is amazing.

Comfortable room, nice swimming pool and good service.

Hot water was an issue, and it was difficult to get taxis from this location to travel around. The waiting time for food at the restaurant was sometimes more than an hour.

Overpriced, not clean, bad smell in room. Multiple time reached out to receptionist, they just came and said sorry for that please adjust

An average property .. the plus side is that the staff are really helpfull..

Hotel did not have any supplies in toilets like shower gel, Shampoo etc which are basics .. short of manpower as well..

Exotic location in the middle of the forest. We felt like staying in tree houses. Hospitality was exceptional, staff were cordial as well. Kudos to the management.

Suite rooms need to include temperature heaters and locks for sliding doors to the balcony, and a hair dryer.

Ambience, courteous staff, sumptuous food & close to nature.

Nothing in the property is that you won't like.

Our stay at the Resort was amazing. The director and the staff were so welcoming and arranged all kind of activities so we did not have to think about booking cabs or anything else to discover Munnar and its wonderful landscapes.The rooms were clean, comfortable and well furnished.The food was also excellent.You can hang out by the campfire and listen to some music and also enjoy the swimming pool.The resort is located in a very quiet place and we had an amazing view from our balcony.We recommend this Resort to anyone wishing to travel to Munnar!

The food was bad.. extremely cold food and they didn't have 70% of the items on the menu..During the check-in, we were told by the reception guy that all the rooms were full as the check in time was 2PM, also that they hadn't received any booking from our side ..Once I showed him the booking details (via booking.com) and the approval from the hotel , he took hardly 5 minutes to provide us with a room (he had earlier mentioned that the property was full & not a single room was available until 11AM atleast).I do not appreciate the fact that he lied to us on our face.

The cleanliness and the food was awesome.

It’s little far from the town but yet very adventurous and interesting place to stay.

Property is in excellent Location, Food is very good , Swimming pool is clean, rooms are well maintained and staff's are friendly nature caring

Roads to the property is little bad, need more sign boards to reach the property
