    • Even if it means one has to camp out in the forest, it would be better than staying at this resort. While the location and the staff were the only positive things going, the rest of it is utter negligence and mismanagement. The breakfast was something we never looked forward to as the food was served with no care and looked unappetizing. The seating area was shabby and cramped with frayed table linen and no sign of decent cutlery even.
    • We stayed at this gem of a hotel in Munnar for three nights, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff left a lasting impression. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel at home. The food was an absolute highlight of our stay. Every meal felt like a celebration of flavors, with dishes so incredible that we found ourselves looking forward to every dining experience. The variety and quality were unmatched, and the team truly outdid themselves in ensuring we were amazed every single day.The property itself is a haven of tranquility, surrounded by breathtaking views of Munnar’s natural beauty. The wooden cabins provided the perfect mix of luxury and privacy, making it an ideal retreat. Waking up to the misty mornings and falling asleep to the serene sounds of nature was an experience we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a stay that combines heartwarming service, incredible food, and stunning surroundings, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!
    • Good ambience and surroundings

    Cons -

    • The rooms we stayed in were just okay and had a great valley view, but nothing to take home. There is so much potential for improvement that it is hard to list where to start. Poorly manicured gardens and plants is one area to look into. Felt like it was a total rip-off. Would never recommend this resort to anyone unless these really pull up their socks or they’ll have to close shop.
    • The food service could be a little quicker but besides that, no complaints.
    • Approach road to the hotel. It’s very much in the interior part of the city. Very small restaurant seating capacity as compared to the hotel rooms. Not recommended for any senior citizen especially with some one who has difficulty in walking.

The location is good for people who want to spent the time at the resort only. It is not a good place for elderly or handicapped.

The access (approach) road to the place is not good at all. If u are a first timer then getting there can be a little tricky. If u r arriving there after dark, then it is a big NO. Dangerous if it's misty. If you are traveling with elderly people then I would suggest to look at different place. It wil be difficult (or tiring) for them to even go to the restaurant for breakfast

Poot hotel service..we ordered food but never got delivered to us .then we had to go out buy it. We waited 2-3 hours for the food. Then we went to hotel restaurant to see wts going on none of them wr there ....it really sucked

We loved the room and the views were absolutely incredible. It was a wooden cabin, very cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. The service was really good and the breakfast was tasty

The signalling to get there is a little bit complicated

The rooms were okay and the food though costly was good. View from the room was good

Location of the resort is 4 kms away from the nearest town and 17 kms or an hour away from Munnar. To reach the resort one has go through 4 kms of steep hill climb with some portion of the road in very bad state. Sightseeing munnar from this location is difficult due to its distance.

    AVOID !!

We have spent 2 nights in this hotel and we were very disappointed by the establishment. This is not a 4 star hotel as it claims to be. Not even a one star hotel. Future guests should be aware of the following points : 1. The hotel is 24km away from Munnar, approximately 45min by car. The road is very stiff at times and in bad conditions. We were surprised that the hotel does not have a car service knowing the hotels location. 2. There is severe lack of professionnalism from the staff and management. We asked the hotel to order a taxi for the next morning to go to Munnar at 7:30. The taxi came at 8am., 30min delay and we almost missed the tour we had booked. The evening they have mistaken our order. And as we wanted to check out, they told us that they don't accept international payment (4 star and no international payment?!) And didn't think to tell us in advance. So we literally had to give all our cash money to pay for our stay and didn't even have enough left to pay for the taxi.3. The only good point in this hotel is the view, but it's completely ruined by the noise of the construction work that they are doing. It starts at 8am and finishes at 7pm. A sound of hammer against steel. Also the walls are very thin between the houses. We had a group of teenagers next to our house and we could hear them all night.4. We were surprised that the room service called us one night to ask us if we had already eaten. We were doing a nap and were waken up by the call. Usually it's the client who calls the room service, not the opposite. The person in charge of the bookings also called me on my cell at 9:30 pm to ask if we were happy with our stay. Usually we stop calling people after 7pm to give them some quiet. I wish I had known all this before booking and should have read the reviews that all seem to point to point the same problems. It's definitely not to worth the money paid.

There nothing to like about Eterno camellia. By reaching the resort itself we were upset.

The resort is very far from munnar town and the most difficult part is reaching the resort. From kunjithanni there is a short cut but only bike can go. The other way is far and very bad road and steep climbing. You need to drive your vehicle in 1st gear in these climbings. Its very risk to go to this resort in the night. Road is very pathetic condition and the last 300 meters were very risky specially in the night. By reaching the resort we were upset and decided not to stay there. The view from the resort is not at all like what we see in the pics they provided. It was really disappointing since we stayed in a different resort which was really awesome compared to Eterno camelia. Since we decided not to stay there i won't be able to comment on room and food.

Front view ( balcony).. staff service is not bad.. but not a star hotel service

Amenities in the room.. housekeeping service.. road ?️ inside the property and comming area..

The only good point about the place is the view from balcony. The food was okay but the room service was good. Friendly staff and also good ayurvedic massage

The facility overall needs upgrade. Rooms didn't meet the expectation. Basic issues with bathroom and cleanliness. The mountain view room were terrible with mold developing on the walls. Wooden rooms had dust on the floor. Not worth paying 18000 rs for 2 nights

    6ThusleenaPosted on: 12-19-2022

Cleanliness was an issue and also rooms were not equipped with basic necessaties.

    Good location

    Location is definitely good

We were charged for accidental stain on the towel.Charging for a stained towel does notl speak well about the hospitality aspect of the property. It's embarassing The hot water system was not working.Need to work on the Hospitality

The breakfast which was included in my package, was horrible. They didn't offer any choice and most of the time they ran out of food. No continental choices were provided. Just horrible spread of breakfast. The worst that I have ever seen.

They goofed up with the check out dates, made me switch rooms unnecessarily, basic amenities in the room were missing - lights, bulbs, intercom etc. The reception staff couldn't understand Hindi or English. Made my stay a living hell.
