Nothing to brag about

1. Staff and workers not communicating good. Language barrier. They would say anything you say without any understanding. 2. Bathroom smells very bad 3. Restaurant food is not great including breakfast.

Nice staff. Good food. Great location. They have a free cooking class every night. Nice view.

property is old building and based on key system for the doors and power went off if we remove the keys from the wall..and a lot construction near by and the road to the hotel is bad. Google rated this hotel 4 star but it is either 3 star or less

A wonderful hotel, which was excellent value for money. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Lunch menu also very nice..the hotel.offered cookery demonstrations in the evening, which were excellent and offered us the chance to learn how to cook 4 different dishes from Kerala. The hotel.also provide the chance for clients to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening.

We were greeted with a cup of much needed tea on arrival. This was so welcoming. Rooms were ready for us and we had rooms across from each other, which was perfect. Our rooms were big, but the choice had been limited when i had booked. We ended up with a suite each! Food in the restaurant was very tasty and there is a wide choice. We observed 2 cooking demonstrations which were brilliant. We also enjoyed some complimentary tea and snacks one evening. The additional events are a great idea.

Due to the busy main road, it's difficult to get into Munnar without taking a taxi or rickshaw from the hotel.

Staff, food and facilities was excellent. The stand out here is the evening tea and snacks for all the guests.

The staff of the Grand Plaza was wonderful all around, and the restaurant is one of the best in town. Our room was comfortable and bright, with three windows and a nice view of the river and back lawn where afternoon tea and snacks are served. The bathroom was modern and clean. The furniture in the room was perhaps a bit dated, but perfectly comfortable. Really enjoyed it.Good location to walk to other shops and restaurants in town.

We didn't have any screens in our windows to keep out mosquitoes, but also didn't have any mosquitoes when we left the windows open. Still, might be a nice safety measure on at least one window per room.

The location was great. Near to all places we wanted to see. Breakfast was good. Day staff were friendly. Rooms were not that great but bed was comfortable.

The rooms looked quite dark. Lighting was not enough. Rooms need upgrading. There was a staff member who created disturbances at night by playing loud music with his friends in the reception area. Not very professional at all.

from my point of view the hotel does not met our expectations for a 4 stars hotel standards . In my opinion is more like a 3 stars hotel with nice views though.

Property was as described, very neat, staffs were also really good, breakfast and dinner buffet were awesome.

Location is convenient, just outside of the town on a lovely green peninsula with a pretty river. Air around was nice so we left the windows open 24/7. No ac or heat needed! Staff is super helpful and arranged different tours for us. Meals were great and the kitchen staff was thoughtful and caring.

Select facilities were super nice, others were poor. Lobby bathroom is not maintained. Gym is unusable due to the smell of the old carpet and feeling. Top floor rooms are in between a construction zone and the in-house spa. Make sure to avoid them when booking. We booked this property for the gym as well as the bonfires near the river. Our first night there there was a bonfire, but we were too late for it. They didn’t have one any other of the evenings.

Staff were very welcoming. The food was excellent, especially the dinner buffet. There were great views of the mountains.

Play room pathetic .. campfire is chargable .. staff not have much data about surroundings .. so much echo in corridors.. if you speak normal also neighbour room are shouting at us ..

Only the Grand in the name Grand Plaza.

The staff was unpleasant, and intrusively inquisitive. No formal training on how to welcome guests.The faucet had to be turned on for five to ten minutes in the morning to get the hot water The cost of breakfast was exorbitant. The facial that was provided was not a facial at all but only a face massage.The approach road was a dirt road

It’s nice place to stay with peaceful mind and can relax. Rooms are maintained well, staffs are polite & humble. we enjoy the stay with Grand Plaza, Munnar.........
