I had an amazing stay at the SpiceTree. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, paying close attention to every need and detail. The grounds were beautiful and tucked into gorgeous mountains and spice plantation. You have everything you need there with many activities like hikes, spa, tea tasting and cooking lessons. I absolutely loved this place and hope to come back some day! Highly recommended!!!

The property is an exceptional choice, especially for those seeking calm, quiet, and peace of mind. Each cottage and villa offers well-maintained privacy, while accessibility to on-site attractions is thoughtfully managed. It’s best to visit during drier weather, as some of the complimentary in-house events may be cancelled during heavy rain.

The property could benefit from offering a proper closed or shaded car parking facility. Additionally, enhancing the entrance area with improved landscaping or design would create a more inviting first impression that reflects the beauty and quality the resort holds inside.

Location is beautiful and serene. Food is delicious and the staff are warm, friendly, and helpful.

Amazing staff, awesome ambience. I especially loved the Hot Tub experience. Next time I would stay for longer as it was not enough number of days for us.Trough out breath takingly peaceful ambience around the property and within the property

1. Even though the food is great, there is not much variety in food. Same menu for lunch and dinner2. You cannot drain the hot tub own your own. Every time you have to drain it, you have to call the reception. It's just like advertising when I used a hot tub3. Water pressure (rate of flow) is too low.

The staff was really helpful and amazing, kind, courteous as you would like them to be.

The location is a bit tricky and while the property is decent the value for money for the rooms wasn't something I could relate to. The food was OK but I kind of expected better service and cleanliness. The suites aren't really private where you can enjoy the scenic beauty as a pathway goes by the side, plus having to call the staff to clear the jacuzzi ( from the outside) which kind of limits ur privacy as everytime u use it the hotel staff needs to be notified... they could do better with auto draining,etc. All being said though I would visit this property for their base rooms to enjoy the location and the view .. I just don't think the honeymoon suites are value for money. I think there are better properties for this price point ..

Very friendly and attentive staff. The views from the room were amazing. Breakfast and dinner always impressed, alwyas tasty and filling.

We had a pool in the room that didn't get warm enough to use during the monsoon season. It was chilly outside so understandable, just keep that in mind if you travel during the monsoon.

Staff was friendly and helpful with information and help. The views are amazing from around spots in the hotel. Facilities in the room are very good.

The view from my specific room was blocked by trees and shrubs. The locations is tough to get to especially at night. If you have a large vehicle, it will be very tough to get to. Cannot windows/doors at night due to bugs. It is located far from main Munnar so it is tough to get to travel locations

Everything else was amazing ! Serene view, lush greenery, cordial and friendly staff who made sure our requirements are met. Apart from our special request to source a bouqet and cake, the staff organized a great setup for dining on our anniversary night. Especially, Mr. Suraj had been exceptional in catering to our requirements.The fond memories will be with us for times to come. Spice Tree Munnar truly lived to their tag line.. "Happiness is in little things"One of a kind property! Highly recommended.. Must visit!

Food can be improved. We had a relatively long stay 3-nights, and hotel's restaurant was our only option for eating (as the place is away from the city). There was no buffet for lunch and dinner, we had to go with alacarte option, which didn't taste good in the beginning. It got better after our feedback to the staff. Also there should be options that provide kerela home style cooking meal. As a guest I want to feast on the local dishes which are balanced (not too spicy, salty, sweet) and also provide value for money.

Located in the middle of nature. Very nicely organized cottages. Nice collection of plants, flowers and trees

Helpful staffs and very nice food. Honeymoon suite is excellent.

Very difficult to reach there. Its a bit out from munnar. Even though it offers a valley view, there is nothing special about it like you cant see any tea plantation or any such. Overall the whole journey and experience is not worth the money you are paying.

The cottages are very nice. Honeymoon couples will enjoy their stay. Its like having your own cottage on the hill with good indoor and outdoor space

It is difficult to find. Had a very torrid time reaching the place as there was some constructions going on the way which was not intimated even though there was another simpler route available. Also all the other facilities were shut down in the name of COVID. Food was good but very limited variety. The coffee shop mentioned also not working. I actually had one my lunches at the club mahindra property in munnar. The place is good but not at all value for money.

Breakfast was good. Staff at the restaurant was courteous and friendly.

Not organized well for the appointments at the Spa. Hot water during the night was a challenge. Front desk did take requests but never got back. The facilities are not on par with 4 Star ratings as advertized

Good staff and great food.

I expected a bit more activities such as a hike or local walk. Also the room size was decent for two pax but not extraordinary considering the price.

The staff was exceptional. Everyone went out his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. A ready smile and always willing to help. I was most impressed to see everyone wearing a mask and not compromising on Covid safety protocol. Would definitely for long stays of you want to relax in the midst of nature, great hospitality and warm service.

Because of Covid, the menu was limited. But the chef went out of his way to ensure we had a good time.

Provided cot and bed were two single bed merged for couples, its really discomfort ,should have been queen or king-size bed
