    • Except with gallery and view from hotel, this hotel doesn¿t have anything near to even 2 star. Excellent views and surroundings from the hotel but most of the good hotels have the excellent views from the hotel!
    • Just the view and atmosphere
    • Number one is the location, if you want peace and quiet, with the most fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and tea plantations, this is the place for you. Incredible amount of wild birds to be seen and the cooler weather was much needed after the stuffy humid weather down on the planes. Most wonderfully ‘ no mosquitoes .

    Cons -

    • This hotel doesn¿t have anything near to even 2 star! the location is not suitable to travel with Tempo traveler as it doesn¿t go there. The rooms were not clean at all. Dinner wasn¿t good either. Staff was OK too. Towel, bad sheets, cupboards were dir
    • Review for Hotel Tea Valley – Very Disappointing ExperienceI recently visited Hotel Tea Valley with a group of 20 people, including families and children, for what we hoped would be a relaxing staycation. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had.Family-Unfriendly Atmosphere:Despite being advertised as a serene and welcoming resort, this place is not at all family-friendly. The staff showed no consideration for the fact that we had children in our group, and their behavior was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.Misleading Photos:The photos shown online do not reflect the actual condition of the property. We felt completely misled – the real location looked very different and lacked the charm or amenities that were promised in the pictures.Poor Hospitality:Hospitality was shockingly poor. The staff were uncooperative and at times even hostile. Instead of offering help or understanding, especially given we were a large group with children, they scolded and threatened us over minor delays.Overpriced and Excluded Food:Another major letdown was that food was not included. Even breakfast wasn’t complimentary, which is highly unusual for resorts like this. On top of that, the food was extremely overpriced for what was served – not worth it at all.Unjust Charges for Pickup/Drop-Off:This is the first time I’ve encountered a resort charging for pickup and drop-off (₹400 per jeep). In all my past staycations, this service has always been complimentary. Here, it felt like they were trying to squeeze extra charges out of us for everything.Check-Out Harassment:They insisted on an 11 AM checkout even though most resorts allow till 2 PM. When we got slightly delayed (just 15 minutes) due to managing kids, the staff began threatening us, saying they’d leave without us if we didn’t hurry up. This was completely uncalled for and unprofessional, especially given we were paying guests.
    • There is a fairly long rough track that takes you to this location from the main road. It is very bumpy, and every time you want to make a trip out by rickshaw or taxi, you have to endure this rocky bumpy track. There are walkable options if you want to go somewhere else for dinner as there’s a couple of resorts up the hill. (30/40 min walk).I would say it’s a sacrifice Worth making considering the Tranquility of this resort …

Stunning location on the hill side. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They don’t sell beer but we had some delivered for dirt cheap. The food was delicious and the pool was a very welcome addition after a day on our motorbikes. If you are riding take it slow on the track. Stunning views from the balcony. Highly recommend and would definitely come back ❤️

Wonderful behaviour by staff...Food was really nice. Nice picturesque locale

The view from the cottage was nice

The cottages were way too pricey for the facilities they provide. We had a flat screen television in our room which didnt work even after the technician tried to make it work.Even the breakfast wasnt included in the package

The location is unreal with great views of Munnar. Restaurant food was good.

The supervisor at the front desk was rude and abrasive when trying to book an early transfer to a tea plantation. He refused to book at the time we requested until pushed unnecessarily. Kinda condescending guy to be honest.

    3JyotiPosted on: 2-7-2024

Location of the hotel is definitely attractive However accessibility to town becomes and issue as they don’t have any shuttle and cabs or autos charge a huge amount for just 5km drop & pick up.Must mention of Restaurant staff named Bala - superb guy, actually the only staff member who truly understands hospitality. The pool is small but it’s location is pretty.

    1. The bed mattress was broken, gave me back ache2. Eating in at the hotel’s restaurant was a task, lots of waiting, too much confusion with order taker, wrong food served limited options in all meals3. The play area which the hotel flaunts has many flaws too- their carrom boards (there were only 2) were broken, not fit to play, TT bats were worn out badly. They should keep replacing the broken ones otherwise please take it off your list online.4. Our second room did not have hot water at all on day one, and it’s actually cold for a cold shower5. The most important and our biggest disappointment- we requested late check out only by 2 hours , the staff handled the request rudely and came banging on our doors, we offered to pay for 2 hours too. We were in the property and saw the other “so called” arrivals had not arrived. We asked if can get some place to shower before we leave for airport, they rudely declined and all in all staff really needs to understand how to handle situations.

The location is very good The room had excellent view Dron The balcony

The approach road is in a dilapidated condition and needs careful driving

    9NixyPosted on: 10-4-2023

We had a comfortable and peaceful stay. All the staffs were extremely helpfull and polite. The food was yummy. To reach the location you need an expert driver as the road is very narrow but it is worth, once you reach this resort as the view is amazing. Would suggest this place for family, couples and for company tours.

Nice overall view of tea estates from the balcony

The Maintenance and reception staff during night shift only speaks Hindi, travelling to resort after 6.00pm is highly dangerous due to insufficient street lights and narrow tea valley road, room was not cleaned properly.

    9NicolePosted on: 4-27-2023

Beautiful bedroom, large balcony, great location as right in tea field, fast room service

Booking description said laundry service, but they do not have.

i just really love the fact that the room is really warm, even though outside was cold. And the view was marvelous.over all all was perfect :)

The only problem we had during our stay was the road. to go to resort we have to go from very uneven road. And the fact that the location is little far from the resort.
