LE MONTFORT RESORT

The location was very nice amazing place.

The communication network is very weak.The shower was bad.

The location of the resort is great - overlooks a valley, has grounds that one can walk around. Getting to the resort takes a little time as its in the middle of a forest surrounded by plantationsStaff in general were very helpful

The resort is built at 3 levels which the photos dont show. One set of rooms are at the level you arrive to, the only eating place is at an intermediate level and other rooms at at a lower level. So for the elderly or those who need assistance walking it is a problem. I was told by the manager that they are plans to address this issue.Since its a new management and team they are still ironing out the processes. This is one area that needs improvement as coordination between teams/staff is not very good.

Location is superb, Food quality is good, absolute silence, and it has breath taking views. Definitely worth staying in such calm place. Staff are very helpful, very patient enough to listen our queries, and always on top to help us.

I really liked the place and I recommend it. The view is amazing and the building itself as well as the room were beautiful. I liked the tea plantation walk in the morning that was offered by the hotel staff for free. The staff were professional, helpful, and nice. It was a pleasant stay.

The things I didn’t like were the restaurant and the spa, they were very underwhelming. Half the menu is not available at the restaurant. The buffet is not good. They had some dishes that were okay but the quality of the food doesn’t go along with how nice the rest of the place is. And the spa… it was too weird and not professional. The spa wasn’t very clean and the towels/ robes used looked very low in quality. The steam thing was too weird and seemed very old and I didn’t like the oils used either. Again, doesn’t match with how nice the room/ view/ hotel staff were especially with how much they charged for it.

The stay was excellent. Place was good, the ambience is brilliant surrounded by mountains. Weather was brilliant as we traveled in December.The place is deep inside. Access is a little challenge as you need to hit through the tea garden and mountains.If you are planning to go with children they have a lot of activities, both indoor and outdoor.Food was good. Ensure you remind the veg part every time to avoid confusion. Unless you are a seasoned driver, self driving is not recommended. Best access is via Cochin, approx 120 kms and 3.5 to 4hrs on road.

The only challenge is internet. It is very poor.

The staff were exceptional .. starting from the reception to housekeeping , and restaurant. The property is beautiful, well maintained and serene. A word of caution to senior citizens .. some uneven terrain walking required ..u can avail the buggy service though . Special shout out to Sam , Akshay and Abey at the restaurant

The lobby and pool were nice. Food at the restaurant was great.

Rooms were tiny and misleading. Only one bed available for families. Service for check in took an hour. Restaurant service was terrible! Food was delicious though.

Perhaps the best stay of my life. Stunning location and buildings, fantastic staff, beautiful pool, and delicious restaurant.

The staff is very friendly and they definitely want to give you the best experience. The facility is very beautiful and in a very well maintained condition.

The food was good quality but I was underwhelmed by the spread (different options to choose from). I won't say I didn't like it but if you are staying longer than a couple of nights then it can get repetitive.

Location was fantastic and the quality of the air at 4000 ft. The route to tea farm beautiful.

The bed sheet was old and towels was very old. The swimming pool no temperature control … so it was cold.No coffee facilities or shop to provide coffee or Tea.

Le Montfort provides an exceptional mountain view and offers a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor activities both for adults and children. The tranquil atmosphere and the breath taking misty morning views made the stay unique. The staff, including Rakhi, Greeshma, Jithu, Aby, Abhi, Anjana and Hanima, provided consistently friendly and hospitable service, beginning with a warm welcome at reception. A special thanks to Amal for his service. The infinity pool is a highlight, and the complimentary trekking excursion enhanced the overall experience. The food is exceptional. There was no network coverage in the premises but you can rely on their wifi.

The location is beautiful, with amazing views of the valleys. The views from the pool are also very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffet was tasty and had good variety.The staff is friendly and always willing to help. They arranged cabs for sightseeing and airport transfers, making the trip more convenient.

As mentioned in other reviews, the location is a bit far, but it's worth it for the views.If you are traveling with a baby, please note that baby cots are not provided, and wheelchair/pram accessibility is limited in some areas. You’ll need to climb stairs to reach the restaurant and pool.A little more attention to cleanliness would be helpful, especially for items like sofa cushions.The biggest downside is the lack of mobile signal in the rooms. I had to go to the reception area every time I needed to make a call. However, the Wi-Fi is reliable if you can manage with just that.

The hotel is very stylish and nicely furnished with beautiful view on the tea plantations.

It was difficult to air our room, it was getting very humid inside in the morning as there was no window, only balcony doors which was also an entrance door.

Like many hotels in kerala it was a 'dry' establishment.

It was beautiful and relaxing. The views were beautiful and we took short walks and saw the amazing fields of tea trees. There was always a breeze that made the temperature quite comfortable even in hot days. Our room was delightful with view of the mountains. The air is clean and fresh. The property has many places to sit and relax and read in the shade. The swimming pool is very inviting as well. We also like the restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating.The best thing about this place is the staff, friendly and always responsive. They were always ready to know what we wanted and what we needed. It was sad to leave them and the beauty of the property and the area. We could have add more days to our three night stay!!

Really magical place. Tremendous building with uninterrupted views as far as the eye can see. Spotlessly clean with beautiful grounds. Only open for a few months at its current level of offering. Staff are enthusiastic. Nice touches such as campfire and dawn trek. Lovely shower. The infinity pool is incredible, and the statue overlooking it is a bold choice which works beautifully with the view.

Communication prior to arrival was a little bit complicated. I had tried to book directly using the WhatsApp provided on their website, but the delays in responding were significant, I ended up booking via booking.com. But overall it really is a wonderful resort, I would recommend to all.
