The Leaf Munnar

The place is very nice to stay and the food is very delicious. We unfortunately lost our bag there in the resort but we realised it only after coming home but they parceled the bag to our address I think it is one of a kind thing to do .

Anil the yoga teacher was amazing. Added benefit we didn’t expect. The rooms are nice and big.

It’s very isolated and the meals were just okay. A lot of guests were using their hands at the buffet to take items or tossing some aside to grab a different piece. And no hand sanitizer around. The fruit selection was minimal as well. And the coffee was not good and we waited 20+ minutes to get a cup the next day we just made our own coffee in our room.

To reach some of the room (I stayed on 302) there was steep road, specially I was with baby trolly, the pool without heater although munnar known with cold weather compared to city. Food was limited with Indian food with limited choices, restaurant staff (some of them) were not helpful and give bad face impression and this started more when my wife complain to restaurant manager about she asked for one Banana for the baby and they take 10 min to bring it from kitchen as if they are cooking it, moreover the rood to the hotel was difficult

Our son loved the pool. The staff were polite and did tone down the spiciness of the food when asked. Very helpful in arranging taxis to where you.want to go. Good choice of food.on the buffet if you like alot of indian food but can also choose from.a la carte menu which better suited our son.

The wait to get anything, you had to ask several times before you got what you wanted eg theextra bed wasn't in the room and after several requested,it finally arrived after 10pm th3n had to ask for pillows which took another 30 minutes.to arrive. At dinner the wait for drinks was crazy, 45 minutes.for a milkshake and a bottle of 7up and this was asking 4.people where they were. Also the archery is false advertising as it is.just a target with rubber ended arrows, which disappointed our son as it was something he was looking forward.too.

Nice property and good hospitality variety of breakfast. Clean rooms well maintained everything fast room service friendly staffs.

Beautiful resort with fabulous views. Staff were so friendly and attentive.

The road down to the resort wasn’t the best

This is a clean and modern hotel with great activities (like towel art) all included in the price of the stay, which we didn’t get in any other hotel we stayed in, in India. Everyday at 5PM they offer free tea and coffee with freshly made pakoras which is a lovely little touch. The staff were very friendly and lovely, especially the restaurant staff.

We had to ask for our room to be cleaned which did let the hotel down as it’s not really what we’d expect in a 5* resort. The sun beds were also extremely uncomfortable so you weren’t able to relax on them for a long time.

Everything thing was good. Breakfast spread was very good. Quality of idli and dosa was excellent. Staff is very polite and well behaved. Evening High tea served by hotel was something to look forward. Mr. Raja made our stay memorable. Our room 328 was very well located and it had a balcony with beautiful view. Danith serving High tea was very helpful and always smiling. 24 hour room service was the best feature. Food was very balanced and well prepared. Hotel is scenic and good to visit again.

There is no alcohol served in the hotel. But it did not matter.

The staff were the nicest hotel staff I met in India. The free activities they provide in the hotel. The views, the restaurant, superb!

It’s a little out of town, so if your going for trekking or heading into Munnar village it’s about a 40 minute drive.

Everything was nearly perfect. Wish we had a better view not obstructed by the building in front but still loved sitting outside our room. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. Great facilities and activities offered. Thoroughly enjoyed the nature walk with the onsite naturist.

For an extremely ecologically aware hotel, they could think of a different way of offering the butter, jam, and marmalade.

Very friendly and helpfull personell. Space rooms , and clean. Terras on the room = perfect.Buffet was more than enough lot of choice.Glad to have stayed there.

The restaurant food take way too long to come. Everytime we had problem with drinks. They serve drinks after food. The road to the hotel very bad

The staff was the main plus point. Very warm and helpful. They immediately attended to any requests made. The family villa was spacious, clean and well equipped. The food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Nice touch with complimentary tea and snacks in the evening. Having a toddler play area was handy.

The approach roads are miserable, not necessarily the resorts fault. The play area had the most mosquitoes in the whole resort.

The chief cook was amazing he cooked us a special spaghetti plate non spicy. Calm and beautiful vue

If nor asking they don't clean the room, we got the room the furthest possible from the reception, hard to understand since we are not so young and yo get to the reception it's a very difficult to reach

The Restaurant was really good. the Breakfast buffet had a great spread. The kitchen and service especially at the Restaurant( Anandu served us several days and was very good) was exceptional. The Nature walk( Nandan) and yoga were led by very knowledgeable people.

The approach road to the resort needs to be repaired
