Sprise Munnar Resort and Spa

The property is 5 Km from Anachal and away from city centre. The stay is peaceful and serene. The rooms are huge and the food is decent in the in-house restaurant. The room service guys are really helping even more than the actual staff at reception.

The living room and balcony are sharing and not to yourself. We visited for our anniversary but no complimentary decorations were done. I even asked to make somw arrangements but they told it will be charged separately. The reception staff seemed least interested in making any kind of arrangements.

Beautiful location, spacious rooms and friendly staff. We had good time staying at the resort . Half an hour drive away from Munnar and beautiful scenery on the way Resort location is not the same as shown in booking.com, so use google maps or ask locals. Pool maintenance could have been better and have a member of staff supervising when gusts using the pool, especially with children.

It was like a dream for us.. Almost perfectly clean. Awesome food that's cooked per order I guess. The portions were quite large too.Nice ambiance for our honeymoon. And the staffs are always available on call.

It was a 2 room with common hall.. But since it was off season.. They locked up all 2nd rooms.. So we had the whole house to ourselves..

The property is set in the most beautiful surroundings. Lovely pool area and views

Food very limited not much available from the menu in the evening. What I did have was good. Breakfast choice awful no fruit, hard boiled eggs grey. Fresh cooked eggs would have been nice and bread/pastry selection

The location was perfect for a relaxing break. The place is surrounded by trees with beautiful sunrise views! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I had a wonderful massage at their spa facilities.

Excellent staff both dining room and housekeeping. Food good but a bit on the spicy side. Housekeeping staff led by Sally efficient and courteous. Sally herself is an excellent leader.

When we arrived we were not offered a welcome drink or even a glass of water. Straight off asked to clear payment.

Hotel is located some distance from Munnar so you need a car or you are pretty isolated and reliant on taxis. Views are amazing from one side of the hotel grounds. Bedrooms finished to good standard. Staff in restaurant very helpful.

Booking was a worry as hotel messaged demanding a 25% deposit or they would let the room. Given we were 4 hours away this created anxiety. They also said they would only take cash but then when we were there produced a card machine. Man on reception is pretty grumpy. Our first room had NO view, well it had a view of a building. We asked to move and second night was better. Hotel is not really finished, there was no working spa. Infinity pool is nice but there is no view from the pool. Looks at a row of trees. I wouldn't visit this hotel again ad it's too hit and miss as to room you get. Most rooms 'share' lounge and balcony with another room. It's a very bizarre set up. Shame as the location in the mountains is very good.

I loved location , food and staff's attitude .rooms were great and maintained clean - great job by housekeeping.food was delicious and well served by staffs.reception people also did a great job .overall, I loved the place, food, staffs rooms and amazing views.thank you.

We lost our silver ornaments which we placed in the cupboard locker .they just trust their staff more than their customer.

The room service was affordable and tasty. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with many options. Located near medical doctor and pharmacy for emergencies.

Property is new, neat and clean

Staff support is too low. They missed keeping towels in the bathrooms. Water is not coming properly. Frequent power cut, no backup

Restaurant food is bad. Swimming pool is not safe. Very poorly designed. Massages also not good, very hard bench and no proper head rest. Equipment is very old and dangerous (steam cabinet)

We celebrated our child's first birthday here and staff decorated our room so wellThey also arrange for us an eggless cake (eventhough at extra cost but really great of them to find it for us). We enjoyed swimming pool with hot water with our daughter. Breakfast were amazing and we also got Jain options.

Location and rooms were really nice and met my expectation.

Swimming pool was dirty and water was not getting recycled. I could see mosquitos inside the water.
