A secluded and nice quite location

Can do a better job at cleaning the rooms - also would do much better if they have a license so that liquor is available at the Resort. They should disclose that upfront for people to know before booking.

All staff were so pleasant, attentive and helpful and did everything to make sure guests are comfortable and enjoy their time at Grand Cliff Resort Munnar. The location made my time there so peaceful and relaxing. Many activities available were very good.

Not really a dislike but if the pool was temperature controlled it would be nicer. A simple notice informing guests of cancellation of any events/ activities would have been helpful.

The facility is very clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the resort is very beautiful with a pool, sauna, recreation area, gym, artificial waterfall. The view was breathtaking. 10/10, very recommended.

The property itself is a treasure trove of experiences, offering so much to explore and enjoy.A special mention to Mr. Muhammad Faris, who made our stay even more delightful. Polite and attentive, he went out of his way to take care of us. As an Arabic translator for the guests, he added a fun twist to our trip—my son, traveling from Dubai, thoroughly enjoyed conversing with him in Arabic. He also guided us through the property, helping us capture some wonderful photos.The resort boasts Instagram-worthy spots, including a giant eagle sculpture, a picturesque bridge, and a waterfall. The infinity pool was simply spectacular, providing an unmatched experience of swimming amidst the stunning natural beauty.The à la carte food, recommended by the Chef, was absolutely delicious and exceeded all expectations.

Grand Cliff Resort, Munnar, is a rare gem where everything exceeds expectations. From the serene ambience to the incredible food and impeccable service, there wasn’t a single thing to dislike.

The location and the service is awesome. The restaurant staff went out of the way to meet our dietary needs. A special thanks to the team.The only negative side is that they dont serve alcohol.

As mentioned above, the lack of a bar and spa are the two drawbacks. But the management has assured it will be getting it sorted in the future.

We arrived in the dark and saw the jaw-dropping view from our room (6th floor) in the morning, opening our curtains. It is indescribable and magnificent. We had a big, beautiful and immaculate room, excellent service and great food in the restaurant. All staff was helpfull and kind. Special thanks to the excellent and friendly driver. The surroundings of the resort are beautiful with green tea fields and jungle, waterfalls and all sorts of exotic flowers. Kerala is truly God's own country and The Grand Cliff is a little piece of heaven on earth. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Location, friendly and helpful staff, manager that was very responsive and helpful.

Complete misrepresentation on website. No alcohol, no spa, no horses, virtually no facilities, b&w printed restaurant menus, no mocktails, no drinks menu, ice cold pool, lots of fake reviews online (mostly done by Chat GPT in perfect, oxford english, it seems, reflecting the exact same claims made on the website), false claims of prestigeous awards won, misrepresentation of ownership (uses exact same name of prestigeous US based hospitality group, but registered it in India), etc. Staff and management were great in trying to make it as good as possible, especially since it seems like we were the only non-muslim guests there, but they can only do so much to cover when the reality is this far removed from the claims made on the website and the impression created by the huge number of false online reviews.

Grand Cliff has the best view in munnar. Its comparable to and even surpasses many resorts in Switzerland, it’s exceeded my expectations. Even the outdoor corridors play relaxing music in the nurture. The supervisor Vinod was very respectful & cooperative to the utmost extent. Everything you wish for is provided. I regretted that I did not find a vacancy with them for the rest of my stay in Munnar. Thank you very much I completely recommend and will come back again.

Grand Cliff is the best hotel in munnar. The view from the rooms & restaurant was panoramic & superb. The resort is comparable to and even surpasses many resorts in Switzerland. It exceeded my expectations. Even the outdoor corridors play relaxing music in the nurture. The supervisor Vinod was very respectful & cooperative to the utmost extent. The private pool in pool villa need to be warmer and well fixed because even in the summer the water at night is cold, but it was very clean and nice with amazing view to the mountains and tea plantations.

This was our 30th hotel in our cycle tour of southern India. We've stayed in some very nice hotels but this is easily the best. From the magnificent view from your balcony (go for the deluxe room for the best views) to the wonderfully helpful staff you simply couldn't fault it. The food was excellent and it had the best continental breakfast we've had in India, and far better than many European hotels. The rooms were immaculately clean, well maintained and the bed was very comfortable and cosy. The air con was, unlike many hotels here, very effective, though we did have a teething problem with it which can be put down to the hotel having only been open 6 weeks.The pool was a bit cool, but nice to paddle in and the restaurant had a great view too. If you're a cyclist they'll happily look after your bike - or tandem like ours! But our tip would be to stop at the barrier and ask the gate keeper to get reception to send a golf cart down to collect your panniers. The hill up to reception is very very steep and is a tiring push at the end of the day.

That we didn't stay a third night!
