The room was very large, with a big balcony and an exceptional sunrise view. Big washroom, hot water at every time. Delicious, tasty traditional dishes for morning meals. Excellent masala tea. Happy I made a very good choice.

the rooms and aminities were okay in relation to what we paythe service of the staff was exemplarary, especially that ot Mr Roy. He was helpful and cooperative and that gives an additional mark to the resort and would certainly recommend this resort to others

The location of this hotel is further from town, which is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are big and clean with a balcony. Near to the booking office for safari jeep. Chill and calm. Enjoyed 3 nights stay. Breakfast was superb.

Nice room with Amazing balcony view and Mr Roy was very helpful in guiding us and providing suggestions on tour locations.

Good customer Service

AC was needed since it was very hot inside the room when I visited.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, beautiful views. The manager Roy was especially helpful and always ready to arrange any trips or sightseeing for us. Easy to move around with an auto. Good breakfast. Nice hot showers.

It has breathtaking views around. The manager Mr Roy was very amiable, cooperative and helpful. Breakfast in hotel was very good. Adventures sports are very nearby. Highly recommended

Nothing particular. . Due to sudden staff shortage there was some room service issue. But other staffs and managers did their best to satisfy the guests requirements, which is appreciable. Will like to come back

The staff was very hospitable and the room clean with a great view on the Monnar mountains. Morning breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately the manager was not available during our stay and we had some minor language barrier.

The location is little difficult to reach, but is in excellent spot. Couple of additional Adventure activities hub is nearby to it. The place was clean and was cozy.

There were limited food Options, as the owner single handedly runs the place. For food you have to travel 600 to 700 meters.

The rooms are nice and the view from the room is mesmerizing. The hotel manager is a kind and humble man.

Mr Peter is a kind and very good man. He tried to take care of us in his possible means. Rooms are really nice and big with a good view.

It’s not a resort. No amenities of resort. It’s short staffed. No options in food. I wish they could keep a good spread for break fast and a fully functional kitchen.

The cleaning of glasses and water boiler should be better. No refrigerator in the room And, there was no well defined restaurant. You need contact a staff and go with him to the restaurant every time that you want eat something. It is a little annoying to be dependent on a person for each meal.

The breakfast was ok thought not great. The breakfast was complimentary with hotel charges, which doesn't even include a cup of tea. The location is ok. Small property on the hill with no great facility.

This hotel has worst hotel manager named Dinesh (if my memory is right). He doesn't know how to behave to the customers. This hotel comes with a small kitchen which primarily serves the breakfast with no choice for the customer. You are forced to eat what is given. If you want dinner then you need to notify the hotel manager 3-4 hours before otherwise it is upto you figure out what to eat. The price of food here is too much to the quality delivered. I asked this question to the hotel manager and he went wild stating that this is a resort and you shouldn't be talking to me like that. He started scolding me. I have the recordings with me but no option to upload here. Pathetic behaviour for asking a question to the hotel manager. They claim this to be a resort which doesn't even have a staff who maintains a little decency.

The Palmtree Leaf is located in a picture perfect setting. The property is neat, clean and well maintained. Walking into the room and opening that large sliding glass doors and looking out at the stunning view of the green hills and forests has to be the highlight of our stay. The room is spacious, well equipped and comfortable but the views the rooms offer is the highlight. The manager of the property was welcoming, helpful and made our stay a memorable one.

The property is located on a steep climb about a few hundred meters from the main road where there are restaurants, transport and other facilities however, it is possible to get a rickshaw back to the hotel and walking downhill is alright. There is also no food / restaurant facility available currently other than breakfast (which was enjoyable) but there are few restaurants nearby that will deliver. These are minor issues though and all considered, Palmtree Leaf is still excellent value and highly recommended.

The room was great , had a nice view , was spacious and clean. Breakfasts were huge and tasty. This hotel is a new building.

We had a huge problem with hotel manager. He confirmed 3 times that pickup from Kochi is arranged and then at given hour there was no car and he didn't even remember talking about it. He also wanted advance payment and kept writing to me 5 times about confirmation because he couldn't find it... And tried to charge me this one more time. Very unprofessional. He caused us a lot of stress and trouble and because of him I don't recommend this place. He is a nice person but is unable to arrange even simplest things. There are some good reviews about stuff but people meant the owner and now he is not here and stays far away from Munnar. If they want to have a good hotel , the owner should return , as manager is not trustworthy. Worst staff experience in whole India

Worth for the rate.. Good view from the balcony(top floor).. Good hospitality from staff and the owner.....Simply delicious breakfast.

Maintenance is not good. Many places paint is damaged and cleanliness is not up to standard. They don't clean the room or change the bedsheets everyday.Breakfast has no option. Only one item.No separate water heater. Each time when we require we have to ask receptionist to start the main heater.

The rooms were amazing, they were spacious, clean, luxurious, etc.The attached washrooms were also good.

Complimentary breakfast had very limited options, had to pay for extra water bottles, also had to pay GST.
