Itsy Hotels The Waters Edge Beach Resort

The position of the room given was awesome. We could sea the roaring sea from our balcony. The hotel is in close proximity to the beach. The behavior of the staffs was too good. Particularly, the manager Mr. Sanal was very courteous.

The bed was too soft for a comfortable sleep.

Location and view from top floor is amazing! Room is small but balcony was big enough for yoga practices. The cost was less than places which have restaurants but the view is worth it and there are many choices for dining out within few minutes walk :)

The garbage needs to be cleaned up at all the beach entrances. The entrance below the hotel to the small private beach AND the entrance to Kovalam beach as well. This must be addressed. If the local municipality won’t do it then the group of hotels in the area should meet and figure out a solution together.

Hot water facilities can improve.

The staff were good.

Breakfast was pathetic. The tv did not work. No hot water at all. This is a poor 2 star hotel.

Wonderful location just a stone throw from Kovalam beach. The room provided was air conditioned, beat and required amenities. The hotel staff was super cooperative and always ready to serve.

The hotel has a solar water heater for providing hot water as such during cloudy days the availability of hot water was the issue

Booked a double deluxe room but got a standard room at the price of a double deluxe room... And manager was also not present to attend to the problem.... And their staff was not even taking responsibility....

Perfect location, spacious and clean rooms.

The breakfast was not buffet, so need to ask for food every time. And options were bit limited. Also there is no coffee or tea available after 6 PM. Otherwise everything was good.

Breakfast was very good, room was a little tired. location was good albeit surrounding area could be cleaner

Place could do with renovating as in a very good location and staff were friendly and really helpful.

Great location just 200m from Samudra Beach. Room was neat and clean with all working amenities like TV and AC.

Service was little slow. otherwise had a good stay.

Location and view were the best thing which i cannot forget. It enhanced the taste of memorable stay.Thanks

Food part, which was complimentory, First the option was only 4 item, Idly, Tost, egg item & Poori masala. after that if we ask, that time only staff use to inform whether it is there or not.additionally buffet system could have been there, so dependency would have eliminated, what ever we have we could have been experienced.Third point, Idly items were provided in cold not hot.All are my personal observation, it can variable person to person.

The location was great....near the sea. We had a great view of the sea from the balcony. Room was spacious, with AC and a clean bathroom.Staff at the reception was very polite and respectful. Breakfast was served freshly prepared and very tasty. Best value for money....

Complimentary breakfast was bad .They told me only bread omelette is available and in the mid of my breakfast they were serving other food too

Room was near sea..not a good beach but near sea..Staff was good and courteous.

1. Not so many options for shopping or eating as there are few 5 star hotels nearby so the outside shops and restaurants and not much as compared to kovalam beach.2. The room which were alloted to Treebo customers are not of good quality. The rooms has this bad smell due to bad ventilation. The good and balcony rooms are reserved for direct booking...so this is not good option to book3. No neaby shop to rent the bike so one has to roam with auto or cab though auto stand is nearby

Breakfast was so much delayed and was not ready till 8.30 am and we ended up not having breakfast. No intercom facility available. No kettle and essentials. Extra bed charged for additional person was 900 per day. However they could provide only a small flat thin mattress which has to be put on the floor.

The rooms were ok and not the value for money what i paid, breakfast was not included and the restaurant was not good

the rate charged felt while booking as four star and when was on spot it is just 2 1/2 star hotel

Walking distance to everything downtown. Beautiful rooms, great ambiance in the hotel dining room and bar. We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food, although others looked like they were enjoying it! We will come again!

The food is way expensive and the quantity and quality is very poor for the price.

The property is just besides udaya samudra and with sea frontage , spacious rooms.

It’s in a very small alley and a bit old property. Breakfast was below average.
