The Leela Kovalam, A Raviz Hotel

I did not like that the beach was not "private" and it was dirty! I was hoping to relax by the ocean, but there were all these people (mostly men) on the beach, trying to bring in a huge fishing net from the day's catch. Please clean up the garbage too.

I did not like the spa, or the "private" beach. Regarding the spa: there is no air conditioning in the main/common areas! Now, granted, there are individual air conditioners in each of the treatment rooms, which guests can request be turned on (I did).

The sea view rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel has a small "private" beach, the upkeep of this could be better. The beach cafe needs improvement, but the main restaurant was good.

Spacious rooms, good facilities, good location to go to beach and enjoy Kovalam. Staff were friendly.

Price for value just is not justified. The service was far from exceptional and simple things like an efficient check out and check in did not work or getting help to find an open pharmacy or the on site tailor. Also while the food was mostly ok its quality in no way justified the price.

A lot of greenery and staff to help. Access to the beach was impressive.

Staff can be more professional and confident. Some looked like trainees who were not sure of the questions being asked to them. Tea time snacks could have been better with more choices than just packaged chips and savory.

The staff at The Leela Kovalam are genuinely friendly and courteous, and the location is excellent with beautiful surroundings and views. These aspects continue to be the strong points of the property.

the rooms are a major disappointment. Both the interior and exterior are clearly outdated, with visible wear and tear throughout. This issue was highlighted during my previous stay as well, but unfortunately no corrective action seems to have been taken since then.It is especially disappointing that despite bringing this to the attention of Mr. Ayyappan Nallaperumal earlier, the concerns remain unaddressed. For a property of this brand and reputation, better maintenance and timely upgrades are expected.I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving the overall room quality to match the standards of the location and service.

Probably one of the best resorts we have been too. Pretty much everything about this resort is great. Access to Kovalam beach, amenities in the resort, staff help and location.

The breakfast was the same everyday with very little variation. So that got a bit boring and the taste was mid.

The location and the view is great. Beach has clear water, good snorkelling with calm and warm sea! Staff are very helpful and courteous. Reshmjtha at reception was very helpful with our requests. , jadumoni, jayakrishna? And chef sampath made our dinners easier with our infant. Sirodhara massage was excellent. If you like the sea and nature, it's a great place to be!

Kids have nut allergies and not a lot of choices in the expensive lunch buffet for them. Lunch buffet didn’t include any juice or soft drinks. Beach could have been cleaner but I guess not really their fault.

One of the best customer services I've experienced. Exceptional spread for all meals. Excellent attention to customer needs and very friendly and well trained staff. We stayed around Onam time so the atmosphere was extra festive!

The view from the room was breathtaking. The property is located on a cliff, offering an amazing view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of varieties. The lunch was quite disappointing. The food lacked flavor and the service was not up to the mark. However, the dinner at their club made up for that.

Nice property on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The staff is truly amazing and very helpful, cooperative and polite. The breakfast buffet is really extensive. The views are to die for.

The bar seems to be sidelined for some reason with very limited options on beer and no draught beer at all.

Great location and a fantastic building

Very poor service. Staff glued to their cellphones and and avoid eye contact with clients at all cost

Rooms, Pools, Restaurants, Spa, Service - Everything was top notch.

The beach attached to the property is underwhelming but that is not really on Leela, its more of how the Kovalam beaches are.
