They had a good buffet spread with variety every single day for breakfast. The food quality and taste was great, even for the a la carte options.

The indoor and outdoor entertainment options were very limited. The television didn’t have much options to watch, nor did they have any OTT. We had to make a do with our mobile phone and the swimming pool!

Everything was in line the Abad high standards: the garden cottage was spacious and spotless, with powerful AC and ceiling fans, the manicured tropical gardens with hammocks, the delicious breakfast made to order and the à la carte dinners. The staff have a very good attitude and impeccable customer service. We will repeat the Abad experience :)

Nothing to dislike

The place is in the fisher village close to the sea. Everything is good value and the food is delicious. The staff is very kind and helpfull. Also they care about cleanliness. The guests are a mix of Indians and Westerns.

The pool was very cloudy due to people swimming with casual clothes even if it mentioned clearly on the wall to not do so!

Loved the stunning location surrounded by palm trees. Very peaceful. Lovely pool and amazing staff, in particular Perumal who went above and beyond to help us with booking onward flights and trains etc. I would definitely return here. The food a la carte was excellent too.

It is 200 m to the nearest beach but we didn’t reach it as you had to cross a marsh to get there and we didn’t have the right footwear. Also the restaurant is a little outdated in terms of the building but the food is actually amazing! We did not have time for treatments which we regret.

We are a family of 6 (3 adult couples), and we had 3 of the Garden Cottages, which we loved.

I booked this place after searching for Kovalam on Booking.com, but it turned out to be farther from Kovalam than expected. While there is a beach nearby, swimming is not allowed, and the area is quite dirty.The room/cottage I stayed in felt outdated, with subpar amenities. It was small and lacked basic conveniences like a dining table to sit and eat on. The air conditioning was old and noisy, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. At a lower price point, this might have been acceptable, but for the rate charged, the facilities did not meet expectations. The spa at the so called Spa hotel was closed during my stay. They brought in a therapist from outside but the spa facility was poor and sad.Additionally, the reception area needs an upgrade—it felt empty and unwelcoming. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it at this price. The only good thing was the staff. They were all courteous and helpful.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating... I have very sensitive sleep, and they helped me change rooms several times until I found the perfect spot in the hotel that felt comfortable for me - as I stayed for 10 days. Very grateful for their kindness and understanding.

The property is a hidden gem. Staff were exceptional, with nothing a problem.. Very clean. Great pool. Restaurant offers a range of foods. Breakfast was very good offering variety.Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back.

It is a distance from Kovalam beach which is where many restaurants are situated and shopping but saying that, if you want a chilled holiday ABAD Harmonia is the place to stay.

The staff are for sure the star or the property. From housekeeping, to reception and restaurant each and every single one of them. Hospitable, sweet and accommodating. The property offers a great price/quality deal.Massage therapists Midhun and the lady are fantastic and make it absolutely unnecessary to search for a massage outside. The restaurant staffs are great, the food is delicious and so fairly priced too! I slept like a rock. Mattress was great and the area so quiet. Loved the swimming pool too so relaxing while everyone is out exploring the area and you have it all to yourself.

The property could use a facelift but then of course prices would double so…

This has been one of the best experiences we've had in all of India! Amazing resort, clean room with spacious and functional showers. The pool is big and beautiful! The staff, from reception, to cleaning, to kitchen were all simply wonderful! The food was delicious, whether at the restaurant or in room service. Albie helped us find other accommodation for an extra night at another hotel when we were almost stranded without a place to stay. Thank you!

The pool and the gardens are beautifully kept. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast and the service was very good. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. It is a good place if you just want to relax. We very much enjoyed visiting the Azimala Shiva temple, which one can reach by foot along the beach.

The hotel is not easily reachable from the main road and to get to other places one has to make quite a detour and take either a taxi or rickshaw. we felt the prices were set higher than in other places in Kerala. We ordered a taxi at the hotel to take us to our next destination an hour away. When we reached our new destination we realized that taxi rides were offered at half the price we had paid for, for the same route. Maybe it was because they had ordered us a higher class taxi but we would have liked to have been informed about the options. As we had only arrived in India we did not know.
