Great place to escape the noise of the city and relax in nature by the river.

Very isolated place and there is nothing nearby. So I expected the restaurant's food to be of a high standard but I was very disappointed. Very poor quality food! Sometimes even food is inedible. And the amount of flies in the restaurant area is also something to consider.

The idea of having a floating room and the location on tge river was good in theory , but having no access outside to any other store or place wasn't good ..

From far distance those rooms looking so good and inviting but as a man owing a construction business and working with lot of buildings, I say the quality and craftsmanship of those rooms was very very very poor.. the more I looked around, the more I felt painful looking at everything around , wood work was absolutely primitive and felt like someone built them few hundred years ago with no tools.. it was very bad design overall, for me as a construction contractor, it felt painful to look.. I give 1 out of 10 for the craftsmanship overall.. I could have made that place look way way better than what it is now..

Food was average. First place I have stayed where they charge for ice cream

- exceptional staff, they were all so friendly and welcoming during breakfast, they go above and beyond.

- a few spider webs in the float houses had me feeling on edge that a giant spider would jump out at me

Location exceptional. Bed pillows comfortable. Relaxing on the river, so very peaceful. Staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast outstanding. Dinner selection great. Wine selection great. Wifi everywhere that didnt drop out. Boat ride to resort brilliant

I travelled with a group of friends to attend the ANZAC day service at Kanchanaburi.I shared a room with my friend. Our beds were queen single in size and very comfortable. The food and service at the restaurant was brilliant. The location was way off the grid. Not a place to stay if you want easy access to shopping or tourist attractions. But for a quiet romantic holiday, definitely worth considering.I didn't swim in the river. It was flowing way to fast for my swimming ability. However those who braved the river, wearing the life jackets, appeared to be having a great time.It was a beautiful location, very remote and not easy to get to.We came on a bus, which dropped us at the other motel. Then a short boat ride from there to floathouse. It would be perfect for a quiet honeymoon or just to get away for total relaxation and pampering for a few days.

The only drawback was the remoteness of the location. Luckily we had hired a bus. I don't think it is an easy location to access, but once there, it was beautiful.

Definitely an experiential stay. Chiling on the floating balcony was really cozy and nice. Even the lobby and the restaurant were floating!The food was great, and the staff were amazing in accommodating our dietary requirements despite restrictions in available ingredients.Was told that the boat will leave on an hourly basis, but from our experience, it can be more frequent than that which was nice.

The double bed was comfy, but it seemed like it was made by putting two single beds next to each other. You can slightly fall into between the two beds if you sleep right in the middle of the bed. Minor issue, but would be great if it's improved next time.Another thing, maybe they should improve the security at the car park at the pier. That place looked deserted at late evening, and without any roof, I sometimes was worried about my rental car being left there overnight.

Location, views, quality of accommodation and dining and friendly and very capable staff.

Loved it all. A pool would be nice though.

Beautiful hotel located along the Kwai River.The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. Very calm and relaxing experience.Only downside is the imposed set menu for diner. A la carte would be better.

This was an amazing experience from the long-boat ride with the beautiful scenery to arriving at the floating hotel and being greeted by the lovely staff. The room was gorgeous and the views of the river was so relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful room, fabulous staff, amazing food and drinks, we only had 2 nights here but loved the beautiful, tranquil setting, highly recommended.

Defenitely the most special hotel we have ever stayed. It is breathtaking beautiful. But the staff makes it even better. So special how the mon people run the hotel and you can also visit their village which I would highly recommend. Dont forget to visit the mon dance show in the evening.

Simply everything, the location, the room, the facilities, the staff and the food were all excellent. Coupled with the chilled vibe, you really couldn’t want for a more perfect place to stay.

It really is hard to find anything to criticise.

The services and hospitality!I was told to arrive at Nam Tok station but I didn't know the train journey was so long that we missed the last boat pick up to hotel at 6pmBut they managed to ferry us at 7pm! We were so grateful and the staffs were polite and nice!The room is huge and comfortable. I miss the outdoor patio. No bad comments. Everything is great!

Nothing at all!

Amazing place, the room and restaurant were fabulous. Wish we could have stayed longer but we can’t wait to come back again for longer.

Only negative was that massages were fully booked for the day. We could only stay one night so if we knew it got so busy we would have called ahead to book before we arrived.
