Saiyok River House

They had the sweetest stray dog. Followed me from the road and slept on the front porch. She likes rice.

Good location for Anzac Day at Hellfire Pass, 40 km. Many other tourist attractions near by.Good pool and kitchen/dining area.

Had to remove the toilet cysteine lid to flush toilet.

Beautiful nature and friendly and helpful reception. Elephants also said hello

We loved the surroundings, a house designed for living in it, the food and the staff.

It would be great to have some bicycles to rent

Rooms were nice , tidy and the beds were comfy

A little difficult finding the place as on the maps on my phone it shows up close by but I’m a different place lol but if you ring the place they will come collect you from train station close by , we walked lol , but eventually got there , some Difficulty themUnderstanding my English but I usedGoogle English to Thai and they were able to understand and talk back in English to me , we ate dinner and breakfast here , again it was alittleDifficult choosing the food to have but what we got actually tasted really good ? ? , they helped with transport and booking us a tour to see the elephants at elephant haven which was incredible , we have a loverly stay here and would definitely stay here again

Glorious location on the river. Amazing value.Lovely large room. nice secluded forest spot on the river. Close to elephant haven and all attractions.

Situated in a beautiful location close to the River Kwai Noi. Can see Elephant bathing at the other side of the ricer. The house is clean & has air conditioning. The resort also has swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious though not much selection. But with the cost of the accommodation it is very worthy.

The staff was verry verry friendly they did everything they could to give us a good time, with the little they had. also the location was beautifull.

There was 0 possibility to transport ourself. Also not in the town. If you want to transport yourself you have to take a train, after you first walk for 30 minutes with your luggage. If the manager reads this. Pls invest in some transportation.. few bikes. Not 1 tuktuk, that brakes all the time. The wifi was Terrible, the pool was dirty.

We stayed in a family room and did not explore the property much. Arrived late and left early. Great value for money if you go with low expectations. I don't usually book a property under 8 or 9 rating but wanted an affordable stay. The two-bedroom lodge had all we needed but lacked the small touches that yield a better review: teacups but no tea or coffee. The toilet paper roll was wet and the bathroom was covered in water when we arrived. Close to 7-eleven, which was convenient. We went to the waterfalls and spent all day out and came home just to sleep. The bed was fine, AC worked, the linens were adequate and each bed had mosquito netting.

There were some ants in the bathroom and the space was wet as though someone cleaned rather carelessly. Staff didn't speak English and could use some customer service training. No soap or toiletries were provided. We traveled by car and I had packed coffee (since I hate Nescafe which is what most places offer) and was happy we packed snacks. Simple and basic accommodations, don't expect much more.

Very peaceful place, beautiful grounds. Rooms were good, beds very comfy. We were very lucky and being the only guest for almost two days. Has a great little walk down to the river with a deck down there to sit and watch the sunset and the river. That was a bonus find. Food is great in the restaurant.

The room we had was the wooden one, beautiful design though just very dark in the room as little natural light comes through. They have a little tuk tuk for guest which is usually 20b pp, one evening the guy tried to charge us 40pp which was very cheeky.

The view of the river and nature we heard the elephant and saw them bathing in the river it was very nice

The lady who runs it was not giving much care about us slow service they had no noodles so half the food on the menu was not able to be ordered all the other staff where very nice

I liked the beds.

The bathrooms were smelly, smelt mouldy. One of the toilets was broken.

Location

The property say that breakfast is available from 07h30, however we waited from 07h30 until 08h10 and there was no service. The staff that were around didn’t talk to us.

Nice appartmens with good beds and space

The restaurant did not have anything else to drink than water. Places outside needs to take care of.

Greenery all around and on the side of river bank. We wanted to do BBQ ourselves and it was allowed to do. Staff behavior good and polite.

Room not clean at the time of occupying, toilet had many problems like leakage, no soap at wash basin, water heater not working, Towel napkins not given.
