Beach Wave Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at Beach Wave Hotel in Arugam Bay! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available for anything I needed. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and surf spots.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Arugam Bay. Great service, great atmosphere, and excellent value for money!

We had a fantastic stay at Beach Wave Hotel in Arugam Bay! The room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach, with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and surf shops just steps away. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Basic accommodation right on the beach. Location is awesome & room was clean. Aircon worked extremely well! Staff were always there/available.

Arugam Bay is a bit noisy at night but this is not the property's fault, the noise was coming from bars at the other end of the beach so we actually felt we were far away from it (could still hear it though).

The location is fabulous The guys in the hostel that makes your breakfast were wonderful people and super friendly - loved them and you could hang out there all day (15 steps from your room)Sandy Beach Hotel next door looked much better with the same location

There is very little customer service here. Everything I asked for they gave me but if friendliness is high on your list this place doesn’t have it. And we had no hot water

Perfect location right in the center and with beach access with sun beds and hammocks. However, the beachfront shown in the pictures belongs to the hostel in front of Beach Wave, called Shine Rise. You can hang out there by ordering at the bar of course, but it’s not part of beach wave even if it is advertised as such. AC works great.

Room is basic and dirty. The sheets had a blood stain even though they said they just cleaned the room. There is sand everywhere even after requesting cleaning again. I asked for towels twice and never got them. I never met the owner, i had to call him when i needed something and he sent someone over who didn’t speak english, so communication wasn’t great.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had the best time. The location is amazing with a beautiful beach to swim at right on the doorstep. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed (read: aircon haha). The hotel is just off the main road so there are loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We were able to park our rental car for the duration of our stay and made use of tuk tuks and scooter rental which is all available within a 1 minute walk from the hotel. Staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. Just a heads up that no credit card facilities are available so cash payment is required.

The room is big and comfortable, very clean. The stuff cleans the shared areas every day. The stuff is very nice and polit! The hotel is the closest to the ocean - I can literally here the ocean from my hammock, there is a private hammock for every room! I used the laundry service it was good, also fair price (compare to the town). There is an A/C in the room.Its not too close to the city - and not too far, every thing is so close so you can get there by 2 minutes. and I like that distance! So you don't here the parties and firework during the night. WiFi was good and a digital nomad and I could work from the room - there is also a table for the computer!

Good location. Friendly and always very helpful staff. Room was looking good and beach sunbed. Nice mini bar with good vibe music with cocktail. Breakfast was super. Value for the money. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Feeling good smell in the room and nice lighting. Internet was good.

The best place in Arugam Bay. A beautiful and well-kept yard. A clean, spacious and comfortable room - linen towels everything. A fun balcony to sit at night with a book in a hammock. Quiet and comfortable location close to many local restaurants with delicious and cheap food. And most importantly, Silmir the manager is simply a charming and kind man who always makes sure that he is comfortable.

Best experiance at Beach Wave Hotel. friemdly and helpful staff. Beach front nice chill bar with sunbed and really enjoyed night party. Room was clean and comfy bed. bedsheet and pillow cover was new. Facilities everything fine. Value for the stay. We are very happy to come again.

Chill vibes. Exactly what a budget beach hotel should be. Loved the staff. Available when needed and make it comfortable and easy. Amazing food on the last night!

Great location. Infront beach property. I had best cocktail in here. Great welcoming, Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and comfy bed. Internet connection was good. Room lighting and A/C working good. Value for the stay.

Beautiful clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed, great air conditioning. Right next to the beach and near the mail road in Arugam Bay. The beach is beautiful and they have beach chairs for the guests.

Close to the beach and easy to access anywhere. Helpful staff and always very smile. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Beach front restaurant with bar. Cocktail was superb. Vale for the stay. Wifi connection was superb speed. Definitely we will come back.

Spacious and clean rooms right on the beach and walking distance from everything in Arugam Bay. Friendly staff. I slept really well as the bed was comfy.

Quite loud at night and rooms quite dark. If you're wanting to stay out late then it's a good place! I paid for the balcony room but they didn't have any available on arrival - but they let me pay for the cheaper room.

Only the location as it had direct access to the beach

Everything else, very dirty, there was cockroaches in the room, dirty towels and bedsheets. Didn’t take the card and tried to charge extra for currency conversion. On the last day there was no water in two rooms.
