The food in the restaurant very good, the bed is really comfortable and the staff are so nice.

A very beautiful hotel with gorgeous beach view and outside gardens/terrace. Staff are lovely and very attentive. Room was clean, comfortable and with helpful features (like bedside tables having a light!). Food was delicious. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Location is perfect - right in front of the beach and all visits easily reachable by walking (main point 3min) or tuk tuk (peanut farm beach / elephant rock)Breakfast was great. Especially i want to mention the stuff, they were super happy, supportive and helpful with every question or request. One of the best hotels we have been so far. Clean, nice, feels luxurious for a good price (156€ 3 nights in april).

Fabulous place to stay in Arugam Bay. We stayed in off season so the hotel was very quiet but the staff were so helpful and accomodating with everything we wanted to organise. Stunning views of the beach from our room and good food in the restaurant. Lovely rooftop area to do some exercise in the mornings.

Fantastic beach front hotel, located in middle of Arugam Bay. The hotel is very well maintained, food excellent. Amazing staff and the owner and his family were lovely & helpful with transport. I would highly recommend Bay Vista.

Great location, room was amazing, staff were great as was the food .

There was drilling going on all day one day. Obviously work needs doing at some stage but perhaps consider this when booking off season .

We had the most amazing stay here at Bay vista, the facilities are perfect, spotlessly clean , our double deluxe room overlooking the beautiful ocean and Arugam bay was perfect All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable, our waiter even arranged a birthday cake for my husband . We visited out of season in March so we had the beautiful beach more or less to ourselves. The beach is stunning , the staff are amazing , the food is delicious,would definitely recommend bay vista and will return.

Bay Vista was amazing! Everything from the location to the staff. We were very well looked after and it was a nice relaxing break being there during the off season (had the beach pretty much to ourselves). Highly recommend staying here :)

Nothing! Just FYI that if you are staying during off season there isn’t much open and we found Google maps was wrong for a lot of places in Arugam Bay so it was nice just to take advantage of the hotel and spend time there relaxing.

This hotel is paradise, located directly on the beach, the staff are so helpful and greet you each morning. The facilities are beautiful, food amazing and local amenities next door. We visited in December at low season and embraced the calmness that this hotel had to offer and extended our stay for another night as we just could not leaveHighly recommended at any time of year

Best Hotel in Arugam Bay

1. Would be great if room had mosquito net over beds as mosquitoes are everywhere in Arugam Bay. 2. Beach Sunbed area gets very crowded as local fishermen park their boats right next to sunbeds and masts of boats go over sunbed area.

Excellent location at the centre of the beach. The building has lovely high ceilings and there are beautiful dark timber staircases. It felt spacious and old-school stylish. There are lots of options to sit or lounge in the front garden between the hotel and the beach. The colourful fishing boats lining the beach were a highlight. We were upgraded to a delux room which had a fantastic view over the beach and ocean.

Awesome location, great hotel with nice rooms abd cool common areas. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the restaurant was very good. We loved our time in Bay Vista, Arugam Bay and can highly recommend this place to enjoy the surf and the town.

The staff is amazing very welcoming and answer all the question helping that the room with the balcony to the beach is amazing and you can hear the waves. It’s wonderful. The room has everything you need refrigerator air condition fan safety box but the best part is the balcony to the beach to the ocean. I really recommend that hotel!!!!

Sometimes you don’t have a hot water in the shower but it so hot outside anyway so yo don’t need it. and some of the rooms. The beds are 2 single Attached and you can feel the gap between the beds. But those things are minor compare to all the good the hotel as to offer. I really recommend that hotel.

The hotel boasts the prime location in Arugam Bay, complemented by friendly staff and a lovely garden. It offers excellent beach access. The view of the sea from the seaside rooms is breathtaking. Additionally, the hotel's provision of drinkable water for refills is a thoughtful touch.
