Nice location and quiet at the same time. Nice pool, comfy rooms. The staff did everything to make the stay comfy. They even fixed my bag handle that was broken, helped me get a taxi and book surfing. They were just super friendly. The owner himself looked after that my stay is good.

The people! The service was so good! They were so caring about each customer. The room was great and the hotel restaurant was awesome!

I had a wonderful stay at Paddyway Resorts! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including a really cosy bed. I loved the facilities, especially the clean pool and the peaceful yoga sessions surrounded by paddy fields and nature – it was so relaxing. The on-site restaurant was perfect, serving delicious food that made every meal a treat. The location near Arugam Bay Beach was ideal too. Everything about my stay was fantastic, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Very new hotel comfy beds spacious rooms great bathroom friendly staff. All good for a new hotel & there in the process of building another 9 rooms. Short walk to beach & restaurants. ?

The proximity with Arugam Bay center

Overall very disappointing experience and too expensive for the service and facilities provided compared to other hotel experiences in Sri Lanka. Below expectation for a "4 star" hotel.

Place was all right, and staff was nice.

But it is way to expensive for the level of the facilities (pool, restaurant, etc). Below expectations for the level of price.

Great location. Nice pool and size is big compared to the size of the hotel. Big and clean rooms, beds are confortable. Breakfast available (order from the list) and its price and quality is good. Good and secure parking slot for car.

Wifi was most of the time really bad.

Very friendly and nice host, clean rooms and nice pool. From what we have seen in AB it probably is one of the nicest places to stay!

WiFi problems, poor water pressure in the shower. No daily cleaning, need to ask every day for towels or water.

Wow this place is amazing! The property is brand new, the comfiest bed, the cabanas by the pool are so comfy, the food is amazing, the pool is great, and bonus its walking distance to main town arugum bay. We extended our stay. A special thank you for the birthday surprise too :)

we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and provided all the comforts of home. The highlight of our trip was definitely the stunning swimming pools, where we spent hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. The resorts amenities were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. And the foods were amazing

The room was clean, no insects except some mosquitos. There was hot water. The pool was also very clean. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the restaurants. The staff, especially Ariff, was very helpful. We also used laundry service, except white clothes all were washed well.

Price is high especially considering the low season of Arugam Bay

Paddyway is not on the beach side of the main road, but is just a couple of hundred metres away. Its location is probably much better than those huddled together on the beach with doof-doof music at top volume in some of their restaurants. The room was spacious & although renovations were still going on, we had the lovely pool to ourselves which was great. Shade will be available soon, a problem some other reviewers had mentioned. We left at 5.00am one day to go to Kumana (fabulous), and were provided with a welcome packed breakfast. Our host was very helpful and welcoming, and the coconut drink when we checked in was a nice touch.

Paddyway is very new & some features seem to be somewhat haphazard. There was only one bedside table by the double bed and the light switches were all over the place. At the top of the stairs there is not a seamless transition to the walkway, which you need to keep your eye on - the step is too high, which can be disconcerting & is probably a bit of a safety issue.

We paid £25 a night in a new hotel so that’s a win. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot

Not a good start when they overcharged us and claimed it was a tax increase. No other hotel has done this.They wanted to charge us $15 each for breakfast or $10 if we paid now and had breakfast each day. There is a roti shop opposite that charges $0.4 a roti and more choice a short walk away. The hotel is not finished and building works are going on all day. The gardens are already a mess.The toilet leaked The pool only has one umbrella which is bolted to one of the chairs! On our first day we were asked if we minded if 5 locals came and used the pool!

Newly opened property with nice rooms. Walking distance to the center (most of the restaurants & cafes) & beach. Balcony in the room was fantastic. Bed was comfy and bathrooms were pretty good.

- No water bottles, tea/coffee, kettle in the room.- Pool was rather dirty as it was not managed & looked after regularly.

Isn’t located on the Main Street so it’s quite and still really close to the center, has hot water, and the pool is really nice

The rooms are really nice and clean comfy beds, good air conditioning, a refrigerator and kettle in the room and good shower with hot water. The staff were very nice and welcoming and assisted in anything we needed.There's a nice pool area and a yoga shala, sometimes yoga lessons though I missed them.The location is a walking distance from the center so good for anyone who wants to stay away from the busy area, and we rented bikes from on shop on the main road and it was nice to move around like this.

No wifi in the rooms which was not very comfortable, and the connection of our sim cards (slt and dialog) was not very good and that area for some reason.The price is a bit high in our opinion but overall our stay was very nice either way.
