It was value for money. Tranquil, clean and adequate. The staff as inexperienced and sometimes slow as they were, were very helpful, and went out of their way to meet our requests. Thank you to Manager  and staff for all your good work.

Nothing. However, the staff can be trained on how to set the table. I loved my stay because of how laid back it was.

This place is truly quiet and peaceful — the perfect escape from noise and stress. I absolutely enjoyed the beautiful lake view; it creates such a calm and relaxing atmosphere.The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming — they make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.I highly recommend this place, especially the morning kayak experience. Starting the day on the lake is something special and unforgettable.Definitely worth visiting.

We had a lovely stay here. It is a really quiet spot away from the main town next to the lagoon. About at 10min walk along a quiet road to get to the beach. Breakfast each morning was delicious and different. Amazing omelette! We had a family room that was clean and the air con worked well - if a little noisy. We hired kayaks for the 4 of us for 4000rupees (about £12) which we thought was a very fair price and had a lovely paddle around the lagoon.

Our stay at this hotel was simply magical! The hotel is nestled right next to a breathtakingly beautiful and serene lake, offering peaceful views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the gentle sound of nature and the shimmering water was an unforgettable experience.The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—freshly baked pastries, a variety of tropical fruits, rich and aromatic coffee, and a selection of delicious local specialties. Every morning felt like a luxurious feast, setting the perfect tone for the day.One of the best parts of this hotel was its location. A short, pleasant walk led us straight to the ocean’s pristine beach. The golden sand was incredibly soft and clean, and the crystal-clear water made it an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming. The combination of the peaceful lake and the stunning ocean beach made this a dream destination.

This was our 16th place to stay in Sri Lanka. It has to be the most peaceful, relaxing and chilled out of all. Lovely clean, spacious room, with a small seating area which we loved the views onto the lake. The staff were exceptional! We also hired their kayaks and went for a trip on the serene lake. We’ll remember this place and would definitely return.

I initially planned to stay for just one or two nights, but I ended up staying for over eight days! This place is perfect for relaxation—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. I highly recommend taking the kayaks out and watching the sunrise from the middle of the lagoon—an unforgettable experience. On top of that, the host was incredibly kind and attentive, taking care of every little detail. The breakfasts were delicious and made the stay even more enjoyable. My room was spotless and super comfortable—I’d love to come back. Definitely recommend!

Path to the hotel was narrow. Can not reach buses. But can go three-wheeler,bike,KDH and caravan.

This place is just Simple amazing , if you are looking for a quiet place far from all the Crowd this is a right place. Lake view, sounds od the nature all day , green scenery around, very comfortable bed, clean room , breakfast next to the lake......all you need for your rest.

It's a little bit out of the city but was perfect for me as I wanted something quiet & peaceful but still close to town

We loved it here! All we could ever ask for - by the lake, peaceful, just lovely. The room was big and very spacious, the bathroom was great and the shower was hot, the kitchen well equipped with a little hob, rice cooker and fridge, the bed was so comfy too, there are outdoor seats to look across the lake and the breakfast was absolutely delicious - different each day and served by the sweet and smiley owner and her husband. They have scooter hire too (if you're brave enough to ride on the Sri Lankan roads)!

The location is soooo good. Really nice to be next to the water and look over the lake with an amazing breakfast every morning. The hosts are so sweet, always asking if you want some tea or coffee. The bed was really comfy and I loooooved the shower!!!Thank you so muxh for this amazing stay

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! The accommodation was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was super cozy, and the bathroom was perfectly clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the location was ideal for both relaxation and exploring the area.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect stay! We will definitely be coming back!

This was my favourite place I stayed during my travels around Sri Lanka. Very clean and substantial rooms with a kitchen attached which I appreciated. The room had a fan and an AC unit to keep it cool. Right on a lake so I really enjoyed watching the wildlife and the peace of the location. Usually I would walk into the busier area of Hikkaduwa; although, tuk tuks were easily available and inexpensive to go further up the road where there were lots of shops and restaurants. While I was there, I’d walk up the beach and find a place to rent a lounger so I could enjoy the beach and sea and relax with a book. Breakfast was provided which was filling and the staff very friendly. Good WiFi and comfortable bed. I stayed for three nights and felt safe as a solo female.

Quiet, located at the edge of a lagoon.Rooms are clean and new. The host is gracious and helpful. For those with wheels,this hotel is good value for money...my stay came with a good local breakfast.
