Hotel Pullman Zhangjiajie

The location was perfect, right next to the national park. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had all the necessary amenities and high-quality products. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious and varied, served buffet style.

The hotel is just 2 minute drive / 15 minute walk away from the East (main) entrance to the Wulingyuan park (the park with the Avatar mountains). There is a tourist center in the hotel which consulted me about trip routes very well for free. They guy in the tourist center speaks English well, he listened to my requirements, suggested a route in the Wulingyuan park part and on the Tianmen mountain, told how much time each segment takes and gave many other tips. So I highly recommend visiting the tourist center to plan your trip before going anywhere. Regarding the room, the beds and the overall stay were comfortable. The breakfast was good, various and included European food. There is good European food in the restaurant.

The room is quite outdated and needs a renovation. The A/C didn't work well, it was cold in the room. I asked the reception to fix it, they improved it, but A/C couldn't give more than 23.5 degrees. It was especially cold in the bathroom. It's also cold in the corridors, the lobby and the restaurant. Though, I stayed in the hotel in probably the coldest season of the year (the outside temperatures were around 0–5℃).

The location is good with walking distance to the entrance of the forest park.

Breakfast was poor in food quality. The room had smoking smell. The are moldy spots in shower room.

1. Wifi didn't work. Happens a lot with overseas travelers apparently. 2. Property is a bit dated. Also not that clean. 3. Breakfast area can be better managed for the morning rush.

The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The location is excellent, close to Forest Park National and surrounded by local shops.

The room looks outdated, with old carpet. In one of our rooms the AC didn’t work well and the toilet flush was not working properly. Laundry service is overpriced and takes 24 hours. I also had a bad experience with the restaurant (found a small cockroach in the food), and prices are unreasonable — two plates of fries cost 105 CNY.

Swimming pool was a big plus and the location of the hotel near all the attractions is an advantage.Breakfast spread was very good.

It was one of the few stays that I would remember forever. Beautiful property, great people and excellent hospitality. It is center located and has a lot of shops and restaurants at a walking distance. Their attention to small details and your requests were next level. A big shout out to MARK as he truly made my stay memorable. He was always proactive to offer assistance and offer his help. Every property around the world should have people like him. Absolutely impressed with my stay and would highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you Pullman Zhangajiajie for this lovely experience.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike.The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful.Service exceeded expectations throughout the stay.Everything ran smoothly and met our needs.

Almost 40-50 minutes from Zhangjiajie airport, with Didi, walking distance (15-20min) from East Gate Entrance to Zhangjiajie Natural Park, a convenient location to stay when visiting Avatar Mountain's. Large, comfortable room, extra large bed, bathroom with buthhub for feet and body relaxation after a walking day. Diversified breakfast, also with local, non-spicy food.

Convenient location with lots of food options nearby. Great spread at the Hotel breakfast.

Facility is slightly dated , bathroom needs more lighting and the streets are pretty loud till about 11pm.

Big hotel , clean however room condition is outdated , refurbishment would be a great start

Breakfast was very good! And location was amazing--about a 15 minute walk to the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest. And the staff was very helpful, especially in giving tips for our itinerary and having a van and driver available when we requested.

The only downside was the separation between the bathroom and bedroom was a wooden shutter which you could kind of see through and hear through.

The hotel has a delicious, varied breakfast. The staff will help you buy tickets to all the local attractions and explain in detail how best to build your route. It was very helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance from the entrance of the national park. The rooms, pool, and gym are nice.The consierge provide great dining recommendations for outside the hotel.Would definitely recommend it.

The room feels very outdated. Unfortunately, it doesn’t meet the standard of a five-star hotel.

We had a great stay and that was mainly thanks to the staff. Anne at the reception and Miranda over messages were amazing. Miranda arranged a birthday cake for my husband to be delivered to our room, which was amazing and delicious. We had a very nice view and a great stay. Thank you very much once again, ladies.

Breakfast tends to get crowded at the early hours with all the tour buses leaving early.

The only perk is the location to some of the places we want to visit.

Hotel is not clean and very old in a dilapidated condition. Strong cigarette smell lingers in our room.

Hotel seems a little dated and tired in parts.Broken floor tile in shower cubicle; shower cubicle grouting between tiles needs a good bleaching to remove mould marks!
