Khao Sok Palm Garden Resort

We liked the location of this place - Off main street and quiet. The grounds are very well kept, and have a peaceful ambience. The rooms are new and very clean. We really liked the helpful, friendly attitude of the owners who answered any concerns.

Other than breakfast, we preferred to take our meals are elsewhere.

Great and shiny simple lodge to stay at when travelling in the area. We had the family room (11) which had bunk beds that our kids loved, the place is very well maintained, the manager Mr. chai and his team were kind, great and very helpful, they helped us book a great tour to the lake in a very short notice , and also helped with taxis and everything. Really perfect value for the money you pay. Highly recommend

Our family stayed in a couple of different rooms that were in different quality so I guess there's a difference here, our room (11) was wonderful for us.

We stayed 4 nights at this property and loved the location being off the main strip of Khao Sok, but still within easy walking distance of all the restaurants/shops as well as the national park entrance. It was quiet and the grounds beautifully kept. The family running the business was incredibly friendly and helped book tours for us, even providing some of the accessories useful for those tours (dry bag and extra towels for the lake excursion and flashlights for night hiking) as well as ensuring we got breakfast on a morning when our tour pick up time was prior to the breakfast start.

There's nothing that we didn't like! However, some may find the room furnishings and amenities a bit basic.

This room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple and delicious. A short walk off the main street which was no problem. Accommodation was spaced out amidst trees and was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful.

Beautiful former palm plantation turned into a garden surrounded by private bungalows. Rooms felt very private. The family bungalow we stayed it was exceptionally clean and felt completely brand new. The location is a ten minute walk from the main road. They also book lake tours from the reception. When we left we accidentally forgot our passports ? but the staff found them within ten minutes of our leaving and drove out to bring them to use. True life savers!!?

A very beautiful and cheap hotel, big rooms (ops for the larger rooms when you book), modern bathrooms, and helpful staff. The only down side is the hotel is quite a walk from the main street (10 min) and after a long day exploring khoa sok its a bit tiring but there are restaurants by the hotel so thankfully you dont really need to walk all the way if you are starving.

Excellent value for money! Our family room was new, spacious, and comfortable. The resort is slightly off the main road, making it very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is well-priced, and we also booked tours through the hotel, all of which went smoothly. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

Very quiet place, really enjoyed the jungle-like vibe. The staff is really helpful.

The outside plastic chairs do not quite fit in with the mood but one can get over it.

Room had privacy. Staff was kind and patient. Also, they let us borrow water proof bags and flashlights.

There was a scary spider in the room. Quite big and intimidating. Not the resorts responsibility though, we are in a forest after all.

We only stayed one night ,but we found the Khao Sok Palm Garden resort to be excellent! The bungalows are nice and clean and are located away from the main road so it is nice and quiet at night. The shower in our unit (#4) was by far the best I've had in Thailand!The couple running it are so kind and helpful. We booked a one day lake tour through them and when I got food poisoning the night before the tour, they happily refunded my ticket and even gave me a ride in their personal vehicle to my next accommodation.Definitely recommend staying here!

The Palm Garden Resort is the nicest accommodation I have had in my month-long trip in Thailand by far. Each home style cottage is a stand-alone building. There's plenty of beautiful garden space between units providing privacy. The room is spacious and clean. You will find minimalist yet functional and tasteful furnitures including a comfortable king-size bed. The beautiful marble floor is so luxurious, something you rarely see even in 5 star hotels. The bathroom, too, can easily rival with those of 5 star hotels. Lastly I am very impressed by the ower couple of the resort. They are so effective, totally hands-on, friendly, and kind. Palm Garden resort is truly a gem because its owners.

The owner and staff were very nice and pleasant. They Answered questions and were just super nice.

Just mosquitoes, but this is part of the jungle. The rooms were clean and safe from mosquitos.

Beautiful and private rooms. Walkable to the main street and national park. Amazing value. WiFi and AC worked well.

The bass from the neighboring bar was mildly annoying from 8pm to 11pm. Not too loud but definitely noticeable.

A great location, right next to a bunch of restaurants, massage parlors, etc. and a 10-min walk (or 5-min drive) to the national park entrance. I booked hiking day trips into the park through the hotel. Had my laundry done here (60 baht per kg, ready next day). Room was nice and spacious for what you pay.

Booking the excursions through the hotel was a bit difficult as the owner did not speak great English and didn't really explain all the options/trails available unless I asked specifically about different things, so just something to note. The hotel doesn't have food on-site, but there are good restaurants nearby.
