    Pros +

    • Feels like staying in the middle of jungle, back to the nature, heard the monkeys, frogs, geckos all night long
    • The location is perfect. The lead staff were exceptional at arranging our activities, we got the best possible experiences we were looking for, for great value. The resort is truly integrated into the jungle setting, while remaining very clean and comfortable. I doubt you can get better value for money in Khao Sok.
    • Just a paradise in the forest. If you want peacefull time but still close to little action this is the place for you. Loved everything, even though the bungalows are little older, it just gives the character to it all!!!

    Cons -

    • The fans a bit noisy
    • No fridge in room. Room had no windows, but I think they must have stopped them opening because of naive guests complaining about monkeys or insects entering because they left them open without being cautious.
    • The bed was really not comfortable and we stayed in 2 different ones. Both beds being very uncomfortable. A topper would make a huge difference and make this place a 10/10!

We loved the location, the free breakfast, the swimming, the cheap tuk tuk rides, and Pim was AMAZING!

    The quiet farm atmosphere.

Room is very small. You need just a bit of walking space around the bed. We had to wash our own dishes.

Amazing Lodge in the middle of the forest. The cabins are situated in a thick green forest near the river, as it is rainy season the river is full of water with great current.Very good breakfast.

Rooms are simple but very big.Hot water are for electricity direct hitter, which was passing electricity ⚡️ was very dangerous. The staff wasn’t surprised ? not took any action ? The road to the lodge is not paved or lighted so at night you should carry a flashlight ?

Been staying here for 35 years. Always wonderful. Perfect location. Staff great. Thanks for never changing. We did an inner tube float as the river was swift and full.

The aesthetics of this lodge are the main attractions; rustic, cabin-like, and remotely set in nature.

If you're into rustic, camping like conditions, this is the place for you- I am not that person. Please read on with that in mind.. The staff were less than friendly, cold, and borderline rude. When interacting with the front desk it felt like I was in a time-share meeting where she aggressively pitched very expense excursions. I found the room to be adequate in size, and nestled into nature which was a fun experience. The two fans provided did nothing for the stagnant heat, and the doors/windows did little to keep out the mosquitoes, other bugs, and lizards. The bed and linens were both comfortable. A mosquito net is provided- please inspect for holes/ snags. The windows are very creaky. If you're an early riser, attempting to get some fresh air, pease note you'll likely wake those in the surrounding cabins while opening/closing each. In regards to swimming in the river area- I was told the river was a safe place to swim in. After finding a shoot off the paved resort path I waded into the waters and was immediately bit by a freshwater pufferfish; an alarming experience for both the fish and myself. Swim at your own risk. The dining experience was mostly pleasant and the food was good. The massaman curry is excellent and the breakfast options were filling and cateried to a western diet. Beware of the mosquitoes. There is not enough air circulation in the dining areas, as you're nestled into nature, to avoid these abundant pests. All in all - This is a place I'd come to dine for a night, not necessarily a place I'd stay again.

Loved the jungle concept with the treehouse we stayed in. The treehouses were set off the ground which made it feel nice and secure. Loved the balcony view of the river and

The treehouses could do with being tidied up a little as there are cracks everywhere meaning bugs and lizards could get in.

We really liked the location, right by the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful and had a few days out options to offer. We went on an elephant experience and also spent a full day at Khao Sok National Park. Both were brilliant!Everything was well organised at the Lodge, the food was nice, and we got lucky enough to witness the monkeys playing and bathing in the river. We even saw a couple of otters one evening. It was truly a lovely experience.

Do not expect a massive buffet for breakfast. It was enough for us as there was a selection of both cold and hot dishes. The cereal bowls could have been a little bit bigger !

The location at the river was very nice with large limestone cliffs on the other side. Very peaceful spot. Surrounded by plants and jungle.

    7EvdokiaPosted on: 4-2-2025

The windows have quite a few creaks which make it easy for bugs to get in the room. Also wish there was more lights on the little roads to the houses. There are a lot of stray dogs around. There is a bug net which is nice and the food was nice

Arts River Views Lodge offers a truly serene escape. Nestled beside a gentle river, the resort provides a peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. The dramatic limestone mountain across the water creates a stunning backdrop. While the food was adequate, the spacious and immaculate rooms, combined with the breathtaking natural surroundings, made for an exceptional stay.

The location is very good if you’re looking for a jungle experience

We requested 2 months in advance to have a tree house, when we got there they did not even check our request and assigned the ugliest bungalow first floor (they have 3 like this). There is no glass on the windows or mosquitos net, so you can’t open the windows at the morning or watch the nature at night. We were expecting to be able to observe the nature safe from inside the room but we were totally closed like in a cave. Very dirty shower/toilet bathroom. The staff was not very friendly and when we complaint about our room, she said because we were coming from booking, we could not get the tree house, which we don’t believe it. The 100% of the guests were Europeans.

Great value for money & fab place to stay!

Nothing! Lots of mosquitoes but to be expected for the location - nets are given for the beds so no complaints

The location and atmosphere in the woods is so cool. The bungalows on stilts allowed you to sit outside and enjoy your stay. Walking distance to the national park.

I’m sure it’s the end of the Taurus season, but it seemed like the workers were really tired of travelers. We were surprised we didn’t have air conditioning. But, at night it was not an issue.

Had an amazing one night stay at Art's and wish we had had time to stay longer! The property was beautiful, it's well immersed in the jungle. Just walking around and seeing the monkeys, birds, plants and swimming in the river was peaceful and fun. The room was spacious and comfortable, we thought it was even nicer than the pictures, expecially the bathroom. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from other restaurants and convenience stores in the town area, which made it more peaceful and retreat-like. On top of everything, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We booked an overnight lake tour with them and they also helped us to arrange a slightly complicated transfer following the tour. They were kind and quickly responsive to all questions via email prior to arrival and even more lovely in person. Hope to come back in the future!

    Nothing :)

I had only a night stay in arts river view lodge and it was amazing! The most friendliest staff and just such a beautiful hotel with stunning grounds and its own natural lazy river. I highly recommend to stay here when in khao sok

    Nothing to fault

Great location in the jungle next to the river and close to walk into the village.

This was a last minute booking and we we're only there for 1 night so there is nothing to fault
