Morning Mist Resort

The staff. The location, the quiet, the balcony.

No air conditioning, but I did not notice this room without, no face towel, have kettle but nothing to make coffee or tea, very basic room.

The location was perfect and all the surroundings. Very relax and chill atmosphere, feeling like you live in the jungle. We were very excited to stay here.

The food could be better presented, many meals photos were better than the reality. Internet was working only in the lobby and restaurant.

A really nice place to stay in Khao Sok. We only stayed one night before we headed out to the lake but really enjoyed exploring the little town and it was in the perfect location. They offer lots of tours that you can book when you arrive but we just walked through the National Park ourselves. Beautiful part of the world!

The room was located close to the river and easy to find foods. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere around the room was very nice.

The AC in the room wasn’t working well at the moment we visited.

We only stayed one night before our NP tour but they were so helpful in arranging a lift from the airport and arranging our tour and then return lift back to catch a ferry for the islands.

Location

Rooms are dirty and there are a lot of different bugs anywhere. Wifi only at the restaurant not at the rooms.Electric connections are very big to euro plug and need to charge phones in the restaurant.

Such a beautiful setting. We loved it so much we just dined in. Thoroughly recommend staying here , the staff are amazing? . Our room beside the river was beautiful and very relaxing. ❤️

The staff make this place, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was cheap and cheerful. Rooms were spotless and the hotel smelt amazing. Has a pool and a cafe which sold lovely food. Have an iron to use but need to go down to use as only one could do with an upgrade as wasn’t fabulous but did the job. Towels and wash stuff provided plus a hairdryer. They booked trips for us and helped us to rent a bike. Over all value for money. Not a five star if that’s what you want but clean and functional.

good location in the middle of the main street but still quiet. Good restaurant, nice garden view all around

smell from the bathroom and no internet further away from the reception area but I have my own internet so it is ok.

We stayed in room 3 by the river. It was in the back of the resort and felt very much in the jungle. We experienced monkeys in the surrounding woodland & watched them each day cross the river to come for food. A couple of cheeky ones even came on my partner on the balcony. The resort is ideally centrally located and basic but value for money. Shower could be a little more powerful, the only downside side. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we went to the lake on a hotel excursion which was again, excellent value for money. In the lake, I received a proposal! What a fantastic experience all round.

Very nice place to spend some days and relax. Pool was nice, close to many restaurants and services. They also provide tours to the lake and others that is comfortable.

Good location for travelling to Khao Sok national park the day after. The bed was fairly comfortable with a mosquito net provided. Friendly staff.

Shower/bathroom unclean.Lots of ants and lizards in the room.Too hot in the room due to no working fan.

The location and surrounding area are really nice for a short chilled stay. Children enjoyed the pool and seeing the monkeys

Not having a family room option for 5, not having a fridge

Cute little bungalow overlooking the river with lots of monkeys around. Bungalow was spacious and looked clean. Everything you need within walking distance but I guess that's the case for pretty much every accommodation since there is pretty much just one long road where everything is located.Downsides: fridge inside the bungalow needed a good cleaning, water pressure was practically non existent and bathroom always smelled a little off, on the last day the toilet started leaking. WiFi is only available in the restaurant and by the pool, not in the rooms/bungalows.

Hard bed pillows

The location was great in that it was very close to the high street with easy access to eateries,laundrettes etc and only a 10 minute walk from national park entrance.The room was very basic and dark.

It was a beautiful accommodation. The garden feel like a jungle and the monkey’s agree as they we’re everywhere on the property looking out for food.

Cool place in nature. Funny having the monkeys allaround. We had issues with our toilet blocking (no we did not flush tissue or anything). Other than that nice and clean and basic facilities.

The staff was very friendly, they helped us to coordinate a last minute tour (although we did not take it) were always super willing to help us, the food they make there is delicious, the facilities are very nice and clean, we were also able to store our bags while it was time for our check in

The way to each room was not in the best condition, so carrying a suitcase with wheels was not very convenient
