The St. Regis Astana

The room was beautifully designed, cozy, and impeccably clean. The staff’s hospitality and the excellent spa facilities made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge after long travels. We also enjoyed the traditional menu at La Riviere — absolutely delicious and authentic!

Extremely helpful staff, excellent breakfast with good selection for all dietary preferences (it's not always easy to find a hotel with vegan-friendly selection). The valet and porter services were helpful.

We love the restaurant and the room. Staff was very helpful especially our butler who was always ready to help us. The room is spacious too. Also, thank you for making my husband's birthday special by preparing a small cake for him and the note was a great touch too.

Was expecting to swim at the swimming pool but was only inform the day before we arrived.

EXQUISITE!!!!What an excellent attention to detail with the interior of the room. Top notch!!! We felt like home with their warm welcome. Ms. Alina at the reception was superb. This hotel has a butler service. Our butler Mr. Sanzhar left us a welcome note and made sure that he and his team were available whenever we needed them. What an amazing team. Location of the hotel is close to many attractions and easily accessible. P.S.: Use YandexGo app for online cab bookings.

Too good to even think about saying anything negative.

The hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.The service, the cleanliness, the rooms were very good. Also the staff were great and always helpful. A really nice lady called SANDIRA helped us to find our way round the city very quickly and gave us very good recommendations for shopping and restaurants. We used the limousine service for several hours and looked round the whole city. The value for money was fine.Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely stunning hotel and amazing kind Kazakh hospitality .

I don’t want to stay at the car park in a corner with trash from drivers when I smoke. I stay in a 5 star hotel, where there is positively to make a more nice corner for smoking residents like every other hotel in the world. It’s not said in the description of smoking area.It is VERY difficult to orientation in the hotel, not even after 4 days you couldn’t remember if you had to go left or right.In 5 days, fruit, cake and nuts were left on the table not changed or refreshed

The staff at the St. Regis Astana is, without a doubt, in a league of their own. So very helpful and genuinely caring. We had requested a quiet room, they provided and I have rarely slept as well as I did. They had also customized the room with, among other things, a huge balloon with a map of all the places we had visited (based on information I had provided prior to arriving) which was a wonderful surprise. I had made a mistake in my booking (I booked a night too many) but staff made sure we weren’t charged for it. The food and service at breakfast is also extremely good and we usually didn’t feel like eating again for the rest of the day! We also enjoyed the service in the bar where we had excellent cocktails.We stayed in a suite, which was very large and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable sitting area and a large bathroom. The soft bed was wonderful after experiencing the hard beds in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The temperature inside was comfortable, with quiet climate control. The property is located close to a park and an outside museum, with all the main attractions within 15 – 20 minutes of driving.Honestly, we would have liked to stay for many more nights and we would love to come back again.

We had a large balcony but there was no furniture outside, though that would probably have been provided if we had asked. The shower was large and strong but would sometimes sent a jet of hot water, before returning to a comfortable temperature.

Breakfast was fair. There was no description of allergens in food. The stuff in the hotel, especially in the restaurant should wear a mask if they have a cold. The terrace was not ready for breakfast after the rain in the evening before. Although there was no rain at night and early in the morning everything had to be prepared for guests. Wet terrace floor and sitting. In general service was poor in the restaurant. In the spa as well. One bedside table was missing in our room.

The St.Regis is a luxurious hotel, so regarding the equipment/amenities, you can expect it to be on the same level as other luxurious hotels. What makes the hotel so special is the extraordinary attentive attitude of the staff. Everyone tries to do the best, the attitude is very personalised, so they were even able to handle a backpacker like me, which is probably a type of traveler they do not deal with on a regular basis. I do not recall all names of the staff, but just to mention a few - the receptionist Assan, Beibarys who guided me through the hotel, the Butler Nikita, Tatyana from the Spa… But also all the others had a very good attitude.One person I would like to especially point out is Sabina from the restaurant. She not only provided an extremely professional, friendly and customer oriented service during the breakfast, but she even organised a bottle of Shubat for me since she knew that I wanted to try it. And most important - she told me about the city Kostanay, which I did not know before but now I have on the top of my bucket list if I visit Kazakhstan again.The hotel might be located a bit far from the main sights, but in a very nice, calm and comfortable area on the riverside.

I will cut to the chase - I travel with my job a lot and this is the best service I have ever experienced in any hotel, anywhere. It is the kind of personalised, wonderful service that a lot of places claim to provide, but when you compare it to the St Regis Astana you realise that they're not really living up to their claims.Firstly, the hotel is lovely, grand, clean and comfortable. My room was spacious, well-presented and finished to a high level. The facilities (such as the gym and spa) are probably above what you would reasonably expect from a hotel. The selection of restaurants and bars for a hotel of this size was very good, and all the food I had there was great.But the thing that makes this place stand out, and the reason that I will recommend that anyone come to stay, is that everyone working there seems to have got the memo - they are so kind, welcoming and personal with you that I almost couldn't believe that was going on for the first day of my stay. A lot of staff remember your name, they don't seem like they are chatting to you out of professional obligation (even if they are, it doesn't come across like that), and they seem genuinely ready to help with anything to ensure your stay is good. One example that sticks with me: I remember one of the servers at breakfast, Sabina, talking me through some of the local offerings - I had already had as much breakfast as I could that morning and was in a rush to head out, so I told her that I would try it the next day and thanked her. Sabina wasn't working the next day, but when I got to breakfast it was clear that had briefed her colleagues that I would be interested in some local breakfast items and they were ready to help me out. They knew my name and what I was interested in trying. It was remarkable.If I come back to Astana there will be no competition as to which hotel I stay in. Thank you all.

There was nothing I didn't like, so I'm going to use this space to thank by name some of the staff who contributed to my fantastic stay:- Assel on reception, who gave me the warmest welcome I have ever had at check in - Assel at Asakusa restaurant, for her friendliness and diligent service- Sabina, Nuray, Nuraizhina and Fariza at La Riviere restaurant, for making breakfast the most fun part of my dayMy apologies if I've missed anyone's name, and thank you also just in case.

Special thanks to the St Regis’ Team as they made our 4-night stay unforgettable. Reception was warm and welcoming with early check-in. Butler service team accommodated every request on timely manner. Restaurant and bar service was wonderful, personable and prompt as well. We enjoyed our extremely large, quiet and well-decorated suit and amenities.

The only thing I would change is mattresses. For us they lacked firmness, but it’s a personal preference. Others might enjoy its plushness.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect.The butler who accompanied us to our room, so beautifully decorated and with personalised cards and treats on the special occasion of our 10th anniversary, was very attentive.We adored the large balcony overlooking the city.I had the pleasure to experiment with an aromatherapy treatment in the Iridium SPA, it was fantastic.We had a lovely time at the bar, especially appreciating signature cocktails.Our dinner at "La rivière" was wonderful and the breakfast too.All members of your staff are to be thanked, since every minute of our stay was amazing.

Super clean!Amazing breakfast - tasty, clean, great selection of food! In room dining was extremely good! Spa was great too, high temperatures in steam rooms which you hardly get on other hotels and resorts.

Fantastic design, modern style, and spacy rooms. Excellent breakfast but pretty pricy. Good pool and SPA.

Complicated AC/heating system, difficult to manage. There are no activities inside for kids.

All of the employeers were so kind, smily, warm and helpfull. Rooms are very good, clean and nice designed. All details thought by profesissional designers. It was most comfortable hotel in my life.

Exclusive place for ones who appeciate luxury comfort and service. Very professional staff and high level services. Lovely place near river, comfortable for walking and running. Very cozy rooms and interior. I plan to come back.

Price is really high if compared to other high class hotels in the city.

we got room number with terrible view it was absolutely very bad I wanted to do beautiful pics and videos and post it in my instagram but I didn’t because the reception give for us very bad location I get upset and I’ll never stay in your hotel anymore
