Delicious breakfast, and rooms and facilities were on par for the dormy inn brand. Free washing machine in the onsen rooms. Great location, walking distance to many places. There's a warm waiting room while waiting for your car to come out from the elevator.

    Nothing, everything was great!

Nice spot, right near he station with great views of the harbour from the rooftop baths.

    8ShirohPosted on: 9-20-2025

Beautiful view from onsen bath and powerful mineral thermal water. View from room. Free coffee. Free ice cream and yakult drinks.

Breakfast is overpriced. No shuttle bus.

    10NicholasPosted on: 8-27-2025

The location was great! Easy to access by car, close to parks and the ocean.

Only one pillow on the bed.

    10Cherrilyn R.Posted on: 8-8-2025

The room is spacious! The bath is really nice, clean, and secure, the experience felt relaxing and luxurious. Multiple laundry machines is an added convenience.

Honestly, my stay at the hotel was great—just like any other Dormy Inn in Japan. Well, except for one not-so-great staff member.

The old men manning the parking elevator were hostile, aggressive and unkind. They tried to insist I stash my rental car in there (rather than parking for a few minutes outside while I checked in), even though I told them I needed to return the car soon. When I went against them and parked on the street in spite of their insistence, they literally chased me into the hotel lobby.

    Great breakfast

Very overpriced, rooms smelled like cigarette smoke.

    10benedictPosted on: 7-5-2025

Onsen is great. Convenient and short walk from train station and restaurants. Room layout is great, we like that the shower and the toilet are separate, and that there is a sliding door divider between the room and the shower/toilet.

Our room smells like cigarettes. There is only one pillow per bed.

I really liked the onsen. The view from our room looked like a painting. The parking lot is also great for winter as it is indoors. Lots of basic amenities for a budget hotel. The only thing I disliked are the hard pillows.

    9LaurentPosted on: 3-11-2025

Good location close to station.Nice sea view from room.Pleasant and efficient service. Very nice breakfast. All good.

    9RichardPosted on: 2-28-2025

Breakfast , onsen and location. I asked fora nice view and put us on last floor!

    Too hot in the room

    10Tat H.Posted on: 1-10-2025

The onsen was excellent with both outdoor and indoor pool

Parking was a hassle as the property’s parking was full, had to park at a public parking area

    10PativatePosted on: 9-29-2024

Onsen is okay. Clean. Well maintained. Location is okay. Staff are okay.

Breakfast was too expensive. Parking took a long time to get the car back.

    8AlafistaPosted on: 8-10-2024

A short walk away from the main JR station. It is a hotel that seems to be a favorite amongst Japanese tourist for its onsen. The free ramen for supper is a lovely touch especially when the town shuts down at night.

Need to improve communications on the onsite-parking for car. I had the impression that there was no lots and parked further away. Then after I returned to the hotel, the front staff told me that I could inform the parking staff and they would find a lot for me at the second parking site. The rooms seems abit dated but acceptable since Wakkanai isn't considered a key tourist destination.

The pillow was bad Bring one with you
