Quartz Himalayan Brothers

Great staff here who were attentive and looked after us. The mountain view is outstanding. The hotel is very peaceful and quite, located near some shops and good local restaurants. We had a motorbike but equally the hotel arranged taxis as needed at fair price. The room was clean and comfortable from our balcony we saw Mongoose, Hornbills, Parakeets and an Owl!

Property, staff, location everything was good. Food was tasty.

We booked the property well in advance and we checked-in quite late at approx 2100 hrs or even later , still the TV services was not working. ( settop box was not connected).

Excellent location with stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan Mountains. The staff were always polite and friendly and provided a level of service, advice and assistance that was exemplary. The food served in the restaurant at breakfast and in the evening was superb.

England could have played a little better at the cricket.

After the beautiful location and stunning views surrounding Quartz Brothers, the staff were the next best thing about the stay. So friendly and they couldn't do enough to try and help.The centre of Dharamsala is a steady walk or cheap taxi ride away but this is another appealing factor. You are out of the way and have stunning views of the Himalayas, especially from the beautiful garden. You can also get a taxi or the skyline to McLeod Ganj from nearby here too and so it offers that mix of being close enough to the main areas but tucked away at the same time.The food, both breakfast and dinner, were really good too and getting a fire in the garden at night is a must.

There was nothing I didn't like about this place.

The location was quite good for the hotel and placed very well, only thing is to reach this hotel you need to be ready for some tight roads. The view was fantastic for the mountain view rooms and the hospitality was nice as well. The photo from my room is also there.

The room's ceiling fan, was making a lot of noise.

I was searching for a peaceful location for a quick break along with my sister and after doing some research I found Hotel Quartz which is a hidden gem in Dharamshala with breathtaking views of mountain ranges. The best thing about this hotel is the service they provide you with a big smile and a bigger heart, all of the staff members were really great and helpful. The food was absolute yum and we enjoyed having barbecue and bonfire in their beautiful lawn area where you can here the natural water flowing alongside the hotel, I was told that the water was coming directly from the mountain ranges and it was so pleasant and calming to here that water stream sound. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all travellers planning to stay in Dharamshala as it was an absolute delight staying there.

It could have been better if I could just stay there for a longer time.

Food was excellent, cleanliness was good but if u pay so high there was no other facilities like Gym or spa rtc

The staff is amazing. They go out of their way to make your trip good. They had arranged two wheeler rented bikes whenever needed and also guided us to locations where we could travel to. They also changed our room to a better view as well without any hassels. (Note- yhe previous view was also good)The hotel is next to a farm which is a great place to view sunsets and sunrise. I spent most of my mornings watching the sunrise there. This place is best suited to watch sunsets.

Couldn't have asked for a better hospitality. Rup Thakur & team does an exceptional job at the restaurant. The reception team is one of the best you will come across. The balcony view is the best you can get in Dharamsala.

Everything was great at The Quartz. The staff is just the best, anything you want or need they will try their best to make it available. We wanted to eat local cuisine, and even though it was not available on the menu they made it for us. Food was quite delicious as well.

A big thank you to the Quartz team for looking after us so well. They were extremely polite and friendly. Food was amazing, the hospitality was incredible, rooms were clean, bathrooms were neat and clean. The view from the balcony was fantastic.

Breakfast was below average .It was not worth the money.oil and butter were of poor quality.

The location is calm and serene.

The facilities available at hotel are very very limited. Half the times kitchen is unable to cater for guest needs. We had to order food from nearby restaurants twice in 2 days. Breakfast buffet is a ripoff with practically only paratha, toast/Sandwich and poha in menu. Another sore point is that the route from main road to the hotel is very cramped, by which I mean that I had to regret my decision of taking my honda city that way. The hotel is far from main city too that is about 7 kms and seems quite far in hilly terrain. Another reason to give average review is that bathroom amenities are not placed in the washroom and each item has to be specifically told to get those in place. On top of it bathroom slippers never arrived through out the 3 days of our stay.

Staff members were very polite.Food was hygienic and environment was pleasant inside.
