Khanom Golden Beach Hotel

The location is very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were spacious and everything seems to be working well. They also have function rooms and a gym.

The double bed kept on moving so it even if they were put side by side, we couldn’t really sleep closer to each other

Features are a little dated but some might say it adds to the charm.

Perfect for a quiet few days away. Staff were great, breakfast was decent, the beach is great and the restaurant on the beach next to the hotel was great also.

Location is directly on the beach, room had a sea view and the room was spacious with a very comfortable mattress. Price was great considering it was February.

Great facilities, right on the beach. Balcony overlooking the sea and surrounding hills. Also have a pool. Breakfasts included.

Great hotel. Staff went over and above.The location is right on the beach, and the infinity pool faces directly onto the beach as well.

The breakfast could be more varied, but it is perfectly ok. I'm struggling to find something we didn't like to be honest.

The gym is super nice! The pool is great, the location is perfect and the breakfast is really convenient! It is so quiet and chill here, it's great for a nice quiet getaway.

Slightly outdated but it's really not a big deal, everything functions and works just fine.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The price point was amazing, with great value. They offer breakfast. They have one of the cleanest beaches in Khanom, They send someone to clean it every morning. The waves, when i was there in late January, can be fairly intimidating. If you're a good, strong swimmer, there will be days you can swim. The hotel has a well stocked gym. There is a restaurant across from it. The hotel is at the end of a dead-end street, so it is very quiet in the area. If you're staying in Khanom, rent a scooter.

Better than I expected.Good room, clean, decent size, good wifi, on the beach, good beds for Thailand which normally are very bad. Nothing to complain about.

Everything. Pool overlooks beautiful beach. Breakfast buffet very good. Staff wonderful and friendly.

Hotel itself is musty smelling and older with shower nozzle at midbody.

Think this is the biggest and best hotel in the area. Spent 3 nights here.Pool overlooking the beach was nice. The breakfast was included and was good - better than most hotels.If travelling independently here, there is a mini bus that leaves Sura Thani for Khanom several times a day and takes about an hour to 90.minutes. it costs 100 Baht each. The Khanom mini bus terminal was near the (I assume) main mini bus terminal. If unsure get a Grab taxi here as we got ripped off by a tuk tuk driver. Ask a local not a taxi driver if unsure.If coming from Sura Thsni train station then it is a 30 minute Grab ride into town as the train station is miles out of town.The mini bus to Khanom gets within 1.5km of the hotel. Follow on Google maps and get out when at the end of the road down to the hotel.Local taxi driver will want 150 bart for this distance so get a Grab or walk.When returning to Sura Thani, the hotel can book for you. They will say the mini bus can collect you from the hotel but the driver will want 100 bart per person. Walk or Grab it to the corner where you were dropped. The first mini bus back to Sura Thani started at 6am.

Close to the beach

Need a transport to get around as the location has very little attractions or facilities close by

One of our better stays. It may have not been the newest hotel but what a great location, on the water, nice breakfast, and restaurant across the road. A scooter was available whenever for a very reasonable price. We liked it a lot.

Beachfront, the beach was quiet and beautiful. Pool was nice and beachfront, perfect to relax

The rooms are kind of a bit old, the AC was insanely noisy. Staff checked the room when we checked out to see if everything was ok. Donno what they thought we could have done to the room.

Right by the beach, nice size pool, well equipped gym, they loan bicycles

Not good swimming, big waves, beach wild and natural, not tropical paradise stuff, but more rugged/ deserted

We met a stray dog on the beach who spent the day with us, it was a highlight of the trip. Other than that the staff were very friendly and helpful with things like ordering us taxis.

Occasionally it was difficult to communicate in English but I understand it isn't a built-up area in Thailand.
