Hotel Metropolitan Takasaki

Very close to station, grocery and restaurants.

Hotel is connected to the station, so it’s very easy to access! With a mall just across the road, there’s a lot of food options and shopping (especially for anime/trading card fans)The staff are also very nice, and the hotel, though looking a little dated, is very clean and comfortable! The room is slightly small, but it’s just nice for single travelers who are traveling light!

We were greeted very warmly and requested some assistance from the receptionist. She made a telephone call on our behalf which would have been difficult for us regarding our lack of Japanese. This was no trouble for her, and she understood our request very well.

Its my 2nd stay here, hotel at 6 floor of a mall connecting with JR Takasaki Station. Easy to access to some restaurant and Aeon Style Supermarket and others. Good breakfast and will recommend to stay here again

Like other Metropolitan hotels, it is conveniently connected to Takasaki station and a shopping mall. The hotel was clean and the room I stayed in was large and comfortable for a family of 3. Breakfast was wonderful as well.

Location is near Takasaki station. Very convenient to travel especially when riding shinkasen.

I was very happy with the breakfast! Despite the small options, they were all very delicious! Would definitely recommend it.

The parking was a bit further and cost a lot, but if you come by train, this hotel would be perfect.

Wonderful and friendly business hotel right in Takasaki station. Staff at the front desk had excellent English skills. Very comfortable.

Nothing really just a little on the expensive side, being a business hotel.

Service was good, rooms were clean and comfortable and a good size. Location was extremely convenient with the JR station just below and lots of restaurants around.

Location very convenient by the train station. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants all within walking distance. Staff helped to make restaurant reservations. Very comfortable beds.

There were no shelves or drawers for storing clothes/items, only the closet (maybe my room category) 1 small drawer for documents.

Nothing. Great hotel

We liked everything about this hotel, which is located right on top practically of the Takasaki Train Station. It is clearly a hotel targeting businesspeople. The breakfast offerings were abundant and diverse, Western and Asian. There was a coinself-service laundry which we used - and had not expected. Our room was small. Bed was very comfortable.

The room was small, typical of Japanese hotel rooms.

Location Location Location, the hotel is just up from the JR station and within a shopping mall.Across the road there is also shopping malls and big supermarket. Staff are extremly welcoming and the room is modern and clean. They do offer breakfast and buffet lunch but we didn't have time to try.

Room service, Staff, Breakfast all superb.

Well located .. attached to the jr rail station .. above a shopping centre .. all amenities nearby .. quiet and private
