The hotel staff were friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Standard Japanese breakfast is advertised but it was actually relatively extensive and included curry and rice, salad and also continental breakfast items like croissants and butter/jam, so loads of options if you don't just want the rice/fish/miso (although these were also really good). Rooms are a good size, but need a bit of updating. All amenities were easy to find.
There was a slight smell of smoke in the corridor on our floor but the room itself didn't smell of smoke at all (non-smoking room). The walls in the room could use a repaint.
