Apa Hotel Isesaki-Eki Minami

one of the best hotel staff ever

small bed which couldn't fit me, my wife and my 1year old son

I booked 3 rooms for my family of 5 under my name. Upon arrival the front desk officer requested my passport. My son who usually translates Japanese for me, immediately informed him that we are residents in japan. However i was surprised when he asked for all our IDs and photocopied them. I complied without protest. Adding to the discomfort, he handed over only 1 room key stating that he needed to see all my family members before releasing the remaining 2 keys.The next day i decided to confront and verify whether this was a new policy. Unfortunately He was off duty and we were informed that it was not an official policy but merely a verification procedure. We were also told that the photocopied IDs would be shredded. I felt frustrated and disappointed by the unfair treatment of the employee that seemed unaware of how to handle the customers properly.

The staffs and the place is close to everything but the room is a little bit tight. Love the breakfast and especially how they treated the guests. Very courteous and accomodating!

Staff is very kind and helpful. Hotel is connected with Takasaki and Oyama by JR making it convenient.

The rooms are very compact which makes it seem congested

There were complimentary parking for guests that drives, which really was a plus point for me.

It was pretty old hotel, compared with the other APA hotels I stayed before.

The Staffs, both Myanmar and Japanese are helpful and approachable.

A bit of old smell maybe the building is not anymore new.

Staff was attentive without being intrusive; Room was small but clean and cheery.

Not much to do there if you are a tourist. Price was a bit high given the area, likely due to a weekend.

The hotel was very clean, and not too far from the station. The staff were also very friendly.

The bathroom was very small, as was the room itself.

There was some paperwork When I check in, had to write my address even I had it on my profile but it was ok.Super close from the station and it was clean.

The building was a bit old and the doors still old style with keys but wasn’t a problem.
