Pros +
- Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The meals are convenient. Dining room staff super friendly and helpful. This is the second occasion when rooms were sold out on my desired dates, and both times I was notified of a cancellation that allowed me to stay the desired dates. Always enjoy the relaxing ofuro bath.
- Room was clean. The public bath was also clean and refreshing. The small break room in front of the bath area was good to relax in.The staff were very friendly , also when I requested an extra pillow they bought it to my room quickly
- It is a Business Hotel, not much different from others in Japan. Price a bit on the higher end.
Cons -
- I was in room 307, a non-smoking room, however tobacco smoke was coming into my room. It was irritating my allergies. Also, when I turned on the heater, the ac air also irritated my allergies, so I had to leave it off on the very cold nights. I checked the ac filter and it looked clean, so I am not sure what caused the allergies. Would be nice to have an extra blanket and pillow available.
- More variation of food. I wanted some toast but there was none. The Booking.com site stated the hotel was 900m from the station , but it was a lot more than that , took me longer to get to the hotel. Was there a shuttle bus available for pick up at a station ?
