The view and the private Onsen at the balcony is amazing, especially with the snowy view. The dinner was amazing too! Didn’t expect to get such a great meal. It was such an awesome experience!

Love the onsen in the room balcony. The coin laundry is very convenient and the room itself is clean and spacious.

We loved staying here! Everything was stylish and comfortable. Loved the onsen, probably one of the best on our trip. We also had a private onsen on our balcony. The food was delicious! We loved the dinner and breakfast here. Bed was comfortable and the room setup was thoughtfully designed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!

Everything was great!

Easy to access by car, staff were very kind and accommodating. Family Mart within walking distance and some restaurants and shops nearby. Private onsen on the balcony was a highlight. Overall very quiet area with beautiful views overlooking the river

The first floor area smelled like cigarettes, but the smoking area was nearby. It didn’t affect our experience.

Traveling through Japan for two months and this was our favorite hotel. We started our trip in this hotel to recover from our flight and then decided to stay again before our return to home to recover from our nonstop busy sightseeing schedule. This hotel is truly a magical retreat. They provide a peaceful environment with five star service and a fine dining experience the restaurant should be a Michelin star restaurant. We stayed for five nights and each night we were treated to a fabulous seven course gourmet dinner. The service was excellent. The onsen has several hot spring pools with one outdoor pool which was so relaxing at night I loved to hear the water from the rapids and get a view of the moon and many stars. Of course the balcony with my private onsen tub was my favorite. We loved our stay at this hotel and definitely plan on returning.

Beautiful hotel. We had the most relaxing experience. From the moment we walked into the hotel we felt welcomed by the wonderful staff. The hotel is very clean and peaceful. The beds are comfortable with the most comfortable pillows we have had in our entire Japan trip. I loved the private onsen in the balcony with the view of the mountains and the sound of the cicadas. I loved this place it has been my favorite hotel so far.

It was very sleek, stylish and clean. It also had a private rotenburo on the veranda in the room overlooking the river. I’m very happy with my choice in staying there.

Clean. Feeling of luxury.

Limited food. There is no available food when I was about to make a reservation for dinner. So inconvenient since I want to relax and not go out for dinner.

The property is modern, contemporary and clean. With a wonderfully calm atmosphere and great views of the near by hills and river. Each room has its own onsen on the balcony. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They even called ahead for us to see if some things we wanted to do were open. We can’t wait to come back!

The property was perfect.

The staffs are very nice and helpful! The room was so big and comfortable. The breakfast were so good :) My toddler was very enjoy staying here.

The private outdoor onsen on the balcony is amazing, love the river view and sounds.

The room was extremely spacious, loved the private onsen and view from the room. The public bath is very good lots of baths (indoor and outdoor) and a sauna. The hotel is in a quiet location, but that isn’t a bother as the hotel is very relaxing and has good facilities. Often the had the public bath to yourself.

Far from the main station but they do offer a shuttle bus twice a day which was extremely useful if you don’t have a car.

This hotel is quite new and is a beautiful piece of modern design. The interiors are warm and welcoming with lots of wood and beautiful lighting. Service was excellent. Our triple room was spacious by Japanese standards and had the same warm welcoming vibe as the rest of the hotel. Beds were super comfy with the puffiest down duvets on them to keep us warm. The Onsen Bath on the balcony was amazing. We were lucky enough to have snow falling for most of our stay and it was so lovely to lie in the Onsen Bath and watch the snow.Location right in the centre of Minikami Onsen meant we could easily walk to restaurants and a supermarket.We loved our stay here and would definitely book again!

Only thing we didn't really like was the lighting in the bathroom, as it made it hard to see, but that is a very minor thing.

I like the hotel is new. room is clean. love the bathtub on the balcony. Nice public onsen bath house. Hotel's location is decent from Yuzawa's ski resorts. However, lack of restaruant option pass 7:00pm is a bit of tragic.

I don’t appreciate that the hotel does not provide public area / dinning area past 9pm…. It is not convenient if we try to get some work done. or just hope to have other area to relaxe besides staying in the room. Other then that, the hotel dinning option is quite limited, especially the restaurant options & their opening time is quite limited in the Town….

Lovely spacious rooms, helpful kind staff, Meals were well prepared and the afternoon tea on check in was a lovely touch. View from room and outdoor bath was stunning, so special. Staff very helpful when we needed extra help to contact local onsen, they were so kind and called ahead for us so we could keep our booking on very short notice.

Cheaper to book the meal deal online when booking than request at a later date - worth having. Not too much of a problem but worth knowing during our stay it wasn't recommended to drink water from the taps in our room, so you had to collect water from a dispenser down the hall, having a spare water bottle can save a few extra trips.

We arrived as a couple to enjoy a relaxing weekend. The property provided that and more: beautiful views, relaxing onsen, great room.

The view was amazing.

The beds were hard. There was no closet or dresser. Amenities were at the front desk instead of being placed in the room.

The hotel was lovely, free welcome drinks and cakes were very nice to have. We didn't have the breakfast or dinner as we wanted to eat outside but they seemed very good as well.
