Hotel Aljemin

The location of the property is great, as it's about 10 minutes walking distance away from the railway station. The size of the room was a little too large. The Wi-Fi and AC was in the working condition.

The staff were rude and not very co-operative, despite requesting multiple times to talk in english / hindi the caretaker kept talking in Tamil and didn't even give any effort to overcome the language barrier. I was very disappointed seeing no towels / toiletries in the room. The bathroom was not upto the mark, and there were cleanliness issues. The property is not very well maintained, and there are incomplete furnishings across the room. The bedsheet and linen were extremely dirty, and had stain marks.

The Hotel refused to provide the Rooms when i arrived, the reason is you have not paid in advance whereas booking.com says pay at Property.I have also raised a complaint with you.

The staff was not so cooperative

One of the staff ask us for 100 rupees to accomodate Driver. Inspite of taking money Our driver did not accomodate, he stay overnight in car.

Great location, very spacious rooms with good A/C.

Toilet roll could have been provided and a hand towel or two.

Location was great. 10 min walk to Sunrise point, gandhi mandapam, boat jetty etc..Private parking availability was a plus. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly, provided kettle for hot water.

Simple room with fan but no possibility to change the fan speed. Expensive for this kind of room.Location is good except for the noise.

Location is good. Walkable distance from beach. Parking space was also available.

Staff was pestering for money every time he see us. He didn't do any kind of help apart from giving us the keys. We carried our luggage and everything else.very poor service.forced to give money for nothing. Spoiled our day and money.

Hotel was in walking distance from Cape (Kanyakumari Railway station. Only 3 minutes after you come out of the station. Rooms are large and clean. You can wakk to all the places in 10-15 minutes.

Bedsheets were not changed as there was some see sand on it but simple to remove.

We were so happy throughout the journey why because the room we chose was just perfect! All the facilities were clean and well maintained. Actually we were three and the bed was large to comfortably accomodate three and no other bed was needed! I wish we could stay here more. ..but what to do! The Aljemin room is so best?

Property was well located, especially for viewing sunrise. Rooms were clean & comfortable at a competitive price for such a popular location.

I received an offer to reduce the final price by making an advance payment. Initially I wasn't sure whether this might be a scam - but then when I decided to take up the offer, the payment mechanism didn't work. Hotel should undertake all of its procedures through booking.com.

Pleasant

After checking in and paying at the reception a person escorted to the room . Mind you I just had a bagpack which myself was carrying he just escorted. After reaching the room the person asks to tip him 500rs ( the total room cost was 1000rs) . No luggage was carried by him , still paid him 20 bucks , he said he wants more (after then I said no in stern voice and offered 30rs which he took visibly unhappily)

Great location big room clean with both AC and fan , very close to railway station , lots of shops and restaurants within few minutes distance like “British Baker” ;)

The Manager was good, he checked us in even after the checkin hours. Also offered to stay for couple more hours than the mentioned hours.Everything was working fine

the room service was asking extra Rs. 100 cash for service. He disturbed me early in the morning for the cash. And the cleaners will ask for money as well.The rooms we stayed was not clean. The bed was full of hair and dirt. The room was a bit smelly. Had to use my perfume.We booked 3 big rooms and only got 1 big and 2 medium rooms due to availability.
