Hotel L'art Gimpo

The location was 3 minutes from exit 1 Gochon station. It was very convenient with lots of shops nearby.Breakfast was good. It had a variety of food and the staff (cleaning lady) was friendly. Two times, guests broke dishes and cups and one time, the guests didn`t left their dirty dishes at the table and didn`t clean up but I saw the cleaning staff did not get angry and just cleaned up. The 2 male staff at the front desk were super friendly. It`s close to Gimpo airport but the GOLD line is super crowded and hard to ride with suitcases. It is a 50mins ride to Seoul city centre/Myeongdong area. If I didn`t have to fly 3x from GMP, I would recommend staying inside the city centre.

The room floors were dirty. The shower had mold in the corner areas like most other hotels. The cleaning staff in S. Korea seems to only sweep hair and dust under the bed area and replace towels, straighten bed sheets, rinse the shower area and maybe sink. Their standard of cleanliness is way below international standards. This hotel is already better than most others that I`ve stayed at.

This is my 2nd time booking this hotel. At the beginning of our trip, we had a pleasant stay on the 12th floor. At the end of our trip, we had a mediocre stay on the 10th floor. Breakfast was great!

There was a female staff at the front that was not as nice as the male staff we encountered prior. Our rooms on the 10th floor had ripped wall paper touching our beds. We ended up sleeping on the queen bed only, leaving the other bed alone. The floors were dirty. The door could not be properly closed in room 1009. We had to try 5x before we could lock the door. The TV in room 1007 was broken. We could not turn it off, it kept showing an error.Overall, our 2nd stay was completely different from our 1st stay. I would only consider booking this hotel again if I had an early or late flight from Gimpo. It is too far from Seoul`s city center and requires too many transfers on busy subway lines to get there.At check out, we encountered a friendly lady staff so the people at the front are mostly friendly (3 people are friendly out of 4). They can speak simple English.

This was a great hotel close to Gimpo airport. It was priced fairly, only about 5-10 minutes away from the airport by taxi, and the staff was super helpful! Very grateful to them for helping me figure out my flight and taxi.

The only downside I can think of is that the door to the main hall isn't very soundproofed. It was noisy when other guests were checking in or walking around. Which is fine because guests will of course do that, but it was reverberating in the room. Ear plugs are a good idea for light sleepers here.

The location was not close enough to Gimpo airport for us. No airport shuttle bus, Breakfast was not good.

Very clean room. Location is superb if you have a flight to catch at Gimpo airport, just half a block or so away from Gochon station, which is one station from Gimpo airport station. Also lots of restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies and much more nearby. Very comfortable beds and silent building, plenty of good rest. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not necessarily bad, but breakfast buffet could have a bit more variety. The food was good, fresh and tasty, but a bit more variety could improve the experience tremendously.

The hotel was easy to navigate to and I love the location. It is a very short walk to the metro with lots of restaurants, cafes, and convenience store in short walking distance. There were very good options for breakfast, wonderful! The hotel is very clean and the room was very comfortable after setting the AC once in the room. Bed was very comfortable! There seemed to be plenty of parking, as they utilize stack/tower parking. This was a new experience for me, but the staff was very kind and helpful with my confusion. They allowed me to park my vehicle in a loading spot, and they drove my vehicle into the tower system for me after I checked-in. Another front desk attendant helped me retrieve my vehicle after check-out, as Google Translate ended up confusing me. The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and genuinely nice! English-speaking was a plus!

I fully enjoyed my stay! The room seemed a bit dim, even with all the lights on. It was hot when first entering the room, so make sure to turn on the AC first thing!

our flight was cancelled so we booked this last minute. staff was friendly, helpful and speaks english well. helped us to book early morning taxi next day. hotel near restaurants and convenient stores just steps away, really really nice. all in all good simple stay for our transit. price was very reasonable for 3pax as it was last minute booking.

Excellent access to subway and AirPort Express via gochon station which gives access to all of Seoul,good bars on door see and plenty of late night stores

Nothing to dislike

Located next to metro station, making it very easy to get into Seoul. The room was comfortable and the staff respectful.

We reserved the hotel through booking.com. The hotel did not want to issue us an invoice, even though it was requested in advance.

The real draw for the hotel was a very interesting rate during such high season as Christmas. Breakfast included in the rate, it is quite convenient to have it before going explore the city, just wish there would be a bit more variety from day today, but overall it was quite satisfactory. Staff is very polite and helpful. The room was overall well equipped. Location could be convenient for those who need to be near Gimpo airport (only one metro stop away - Gochon).

Two down sides. First, the bathroom needs badly some renovation! Second, I underestimated how long it takes to reach Seoul's visit sites by subway...

The hotel is very close to the subway station, very easy access and it's close to Gimpo's airport, what makes it a perfect stay to get an early flight at the next day.

Rooms were good size and bathrooms are good having separate toilets and bath.

We thought the location is good in the sense that there's a lot of restaurants close by.However, the location is not very convenient for public transportation as subway is always packed at any given time.

Super close to the subway, staff were friendly, bed was comfy, facilities were great. Complimentary breakfast is basic, but enough.

A little on the pricey side, but comfortable!
