What Guests Loved
Based on 24 reviews
Pros +
- Great for kids that love trains cos the hotel is right next to the rail tracks. My son loved the room so much cos he could see the trains passing all the time. Even the dinning hall has a view of trains. Location is so good, good for both public and private transport. There’s a parking log too.
- very close to the station, many restaurants and shops to walk to and explore.. more than you could in a week.
- The location is near to the station and main shopping area. The lady at the reception Ueda-san was courteous and prompt. That was the only good part of the stay.
Cons -
- I paid for the parking. there was only 10 slots but the cleaning staff kept parking in my spot and I would have to wait 20-30 min for them to move their car whenever I arrived at the hotel.
- The bathroom was stinking. The room carpet was old and dirty. The WIFI connectivity was bad. The morning breakfast was too scanty (less options). And most of the things kept finishing in the tray and had to wait for the refill. The neighboring Toyoko Inn is a few hundred yen more but surely worth staying there.
- The hotel was probably very nice back in 1979, but since these days not much has changed. It for sure got an impressive lobby and more potential, just needs a seriously cleaning and proper room update...

The staff was nice, so was the delicious breakfast. Located just next to the train station, izakaya’s and all other shopping a few steps from hotel
