Pros +
- Good location, simple space, nice reception and staff.
- It was near to the station and clean
- Location is convenient to all of the places around Yokosuka.
Cons -
- Room had a smell when I walked in but was able to open window to air it out. Breakfast was so-so.
- The air conditioner is not cooling the room
- It isn't great for a disabled person. There are elevators but the 1st floor was inaccessible. Everyone had to go up 2 fast moving escalators with luggage and since I had a rollator it had to be taken down and up on the escalator. The bathroom was very small and one had to step up into it. I am short and we had to buy a stool so I could get up into the bathroom

As a smoker you would think it would be hard for me to notice the smoke smell in the air inside the hotel. But it was very strong. And the beds were very firm and I woke up with muscle aches because of how hard they are.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. Property was clean
It was a little inconvenient getting to the lobby from the entrance with luggage on an escalator
Very quiet room. Very convenient location and access to shops restaurants and train station. Bathroom was small, room was small, but normal for Japanese standards. Staff was great
Location right next to train station and Dobuita street for Shenmue fans
Room was smoking and smelled air con not working room was hot
It was close to the station and to Yokosuka Navy Base.
The bathrooms are too small, but that is due to the design of the hotel overall. It would be nice if they were bigger, but that would mean and overhaul of the hotel itself.
Very convenient location adjacent to Keikyu Yokosuka-chuo Station, numerous dining and convenience store options minutes away. Clean room with nice amenities (tea is a teabag, and coffee is pour-over, Pola branded bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. This property is older, but well maintained: A stay here is like stepping back into the late 1970's/early 1980's.
Proximity to the train station does come with noise if this bothers you. Guest room floors have a mix of smoking and non-smoking rooms, so even if you book a non-smoking room, you may notice the corridors smell like tobacco.
The escalator did not work at 5:15 am. The location is good.
It smelled like smoking. Too high step to the bathroom. Entrance to front desk is far.
Smoke smell was so strong all over the hotel. The room they gave me was so old and so smelly.
The strong cigarette smell will cause some health issues. I just wish they offered some kind of price adjustment instead they blamed the Booking.com for the no-refund policy. I paid the full payment for the 3 days stay even without using their room. It's very disappointing. The room they gave me was very old, like 60's old and i asked for a room change. They wanted me to stay overnight in the same room and do the changes the following day. Their policy does not protect or care for the customers. The price was super expensive compared to the frustrating policies and nasty smelling rooms they have. The front desk staff was not helpful at all.
The location is the only good thing , nothing else!
it was my second time there but forgot why I avoided it. First time the staff was being somewhat pushy to give them my passport because I am a foreigner but I am resident in Japan so my resident card was enough, nevertheless yesterday I stayed here again and this time the staff was okay but the room!!!! Never in my 21 years of staying in Japan I’ve received such a dirty room and I have the video and pics to prove it . What I want to say, the other rooms are nice and clean but the one they gave me … look below!I am very disappointed because I felt the race discrimination . Never staying there for sure
Overall, it was a decent stay and cheap, but I wouldn’t stay again.
The address leads to an alley and parking area, not the hotel itself. Right next to the alley is a fake entrance that is blocked off. The real entrance is on the other side of the block essentially. So at first, I thought I had booked a room with a closed hotel. Additionally, the walls were really thing, so I could hear other people in their rooms and smell smoke from the smokers rooms (mine was non smoking). Lastly, there is no thermostat in the room, so it was hot and stuffy.
Dissatisfied
Overprice for a small room with an uncomfortable bed and pillows, small bathroom and cheap toiletries
Location was perfect Old style but well presented hotel
No usbs in roomParking for very small vehicles only.Limited breakfast cereals
Very close to the train station and centre of town. We liked the old fashioned charm of the hotel, it has a lot character. We were able to leave our luggage after check out for the day.
The double bed is very small for two people. Not very comfortable. Though the twin rooms which we also had were great. Better to go for a twin room than a double, much more comfortable. Price was quite excessive for what was offered.
Accessibility is super easy. From Yokosuka Cheio station its 2 mins walking. Breakfast was not taken as I was supposed to leave early. Checked in at night. Floors are too big and have atleast 25-30 rooms, so bit hard to find out rooms. There is a microwave (free) on the 8th floor, so bit hard to find and access.
Great location and very attentive and friendly staff.
In room “air con“ only blows lukewarm air, not cold enough to keep a room comfortably cool. It was disgustingly warm . Its not suited room temperature for guest from other country. Local Japanese ppl like little warmer temp but ppl from other country do not like it. Its very uncomfortable. Secondly, they have old fashioned metal room key with a big key bar thing where I was asked to return it to the front desk everytime I was going out the hotel and pick it up again before going back to my room.
The location.
No air conditioning and it was unusually warm.
Rooms ok
Breakfast finished at 8:30???????? Too early never heard of this before??? Got down stairs at 8:30am . Hotel Site says 6:45am to 9am. I paid extra for breakfast but no refund??? Just told me it’s too bad I missed it. I had 30 more minutes according to the Hotel site. Very disappointing hospitality. My son of 13 years old was looking for to eating breakfast on our trip. Change the site breakfast hours to 8:30am . If they refunded me I would have left happy but it was the attitude.
