Mercure Hotel Yokosuka

The location is very close to shopping, convenient stores along with public transportation. Staff and Cleaning personnel are very professional and friendly. Second time we have stayed and we look forward to staying in this hotel next year. SUPERB!!

Great breakfast. There is a happy hour from 5-630 pm M-Th with view of the harbor. Many places to shop and eat nearby

Carpet was soiled. Room needed update. No gym. Slow WiFi.

I liked because close to a shopping mall and train station

Room was too small also refrigerator was so small I couldn’t put any foods other than few bottles of water

It was within a mile or so walk of a Starbucks and the military base, 15 mins or less from the train station, was compact without being cramped, affordable.

Location. It’s near shops, restaurants, and easy access to train station.

Property is a bit old. Needs major remodeling.

the late night staff he was kinda of acting as if he didn’t want to deal with anything. and the room and the floor i was on. it always says city view but when i get in the room and look out the window there’s nothing but other walls or a peak of the roof of the next building.

So close to Shiori station. Across the street from large mall. Easy to walk around. Close to base. We have 3 separate bookings bc our daughter must be at base and we wanted to be with her often. Staff confirmed the bookings

But are will to move use daily and change the rate bc of the different reservation numbers. Tiny room but adequate.

Perfect location!! Near train station, stores like Lawson, 7-11 and Family Mart. Coaska Mall is right across the street, and there are a lot of delicious restaurants within walking distance.

Breakfast place was Beautiful view. Great Japanese white rice and two different kind Japanese curry. I thought small and weird menu. Not worth it ¥3300($22). The room was very clean. Some friendly people there. Very convent to shopping. Family mart is very close. Big shopping center also across the street. Keikyu line Shioiri stastion is nearby.

They are just very old. They need major update. Peeling funitures. The front was not very welcoming seems very sad. No bell service. Nobody help to carry suitcases to the room.

Mercure is conviently located to the Keikyu line and a major mall. Breakfast was very good and comes with a nice view of the harbor from the 19th floor.

We stayed one night while passing through Yokosuka. This hotel is conveniently located close to train stations and a mall. Everything was within walking distance.

The property itself has a major historical significance to my personal life as well as to the history of Japan and the city of Yokosuka. The Mercure Hotel Yokosuka as the structure is called now continues to extend a part of Naval history. Prior to the Mercure family, the hotel was part of the Prince Hotel chain which had an affiliated partnership with Japanese baseball’s Seibu Lions (Same ownership),However, the structure itself prior to the Prince Hotel was the Club Alliance, a military facility catering to the Morale, Welfare and Recreation of the US Navy since the end of WWII. The site overlooks Yokosuka Bay as you look beyond the adjacent mall across the street but prior to the mall once stood a shipyard facility that built some of the largest warships of the Japanese Navy and the Mercure Hotel facility once was associated with the shipbuilding as well. Staying at the Mercure is not just a place to place my head on a pillow but a key to a portal the open the path to go down Memory Lane.

Nothing -Everything, Everyone is perfect.

Rooms are way overpriced for the quality. Should be like ¥10,000 per night maximum for the room I had.

No power plugs near the bed. Breakfast is the same thing everyday. Though it was fresh and good.

It is near a lot of places including a shopping center and there is parking right under the Hotel.

The parking can be pricey even though it is discounted if you stay.
