Parking at extra cost, Sauna also had to pay additionally, which we didn’t expect

Everything looks nice and the town is cute.

Extra charge for breakfast was ABSURD. The worst food I had in my two in Japan and it cost more than an entire day (or two) of eating good food. The hot springs and sauna were fine, but they look fancy more than they were at the correct temperature and managed well. Water was over chlorinated and tepid. Cold plunge wasn't very cold. Sauna was luke warm at best

The hotel and spa facilities are excellent, and because we came by car the location was perfect for going up and down the coast.

We went in the off-season and Oiso Long Beach was closed for maintenance. There was also maintenance ongoing in the hotel. While we knew these things were closed when we booked, without them the whole experience is a little souless.

Staff were kind. Facilities were generally ok but a bit old.

Rooms good

No pool without charge. No coffee to purchase without breakfast deal until 11:30am. No bar for a beer without paying ¥1600 for spa access even if you don’t want the spa.

Super comfy and well appointed

They charge a ridiculously high price to use the pools. It wouldn’t be a good location if you didn’t have your own transport.

Onsen and spa - well organised, with all possible amenities. Heated infinity pool. English speaking employee at the reception. Very friendly staff in every part of the hotel.

Breakfast not included in the price. Dinner was a bit too expensive for the quantity, but the food was delicious.

The location is not so convenient to move around without a car. If yoi are not local or not familiar with the area, there is little option except to wait for a taxi at the taxi stand at train station to get back to hotel.

The specious Onsen included as a hotel facility make everyone so happy to relax after the long day. With the Onsen provided, the quality / price is good. Without Onsen, it can be too pricy. The room is quite big and clean.

I found that the seaview is not liked in the photo presented in the website. Maybe as I live in the 4th floor, not so high, I can see the swimming pool rather than the seaview.

The spa amenities were amazing! I've never tried five different spa types and loved all of them. Especially the cold spa, which was so refreshing coming out of the others.

There wasn't filtered water readily available throughout the hotel. Only on the last day did we find it in the spa area. It would be nice to have that in the lobby and other central locations.

There are public bath, laundry and restaurants, family can stay inside for a day or two relaxing

The checkin took 30 mins which was too long, other expenses were expensive I.e. 900 yen for a clothes washing self service coin laundry, and the restaurants were not cheap.

The infinity pool and spa were awesome.

That we had to pay extra for the water park, for the infinity pool area, and even for coming earlier to the pool on the check-in day - felt like a rip-off.

Nice new spa section, sauna and pool. Fun to try the banquet evening arrangement. Food is good.

Extreme many small kid families playing in next door water world with looong queues at elevators, breakfast and very noisy. Rooms are in the “old” and warn down part of the hotel - a typically banquet and conference hotel. If adult then go here. It says 4 star but also 3 star. We had a room smelling from past smoking on the room. No beach access.

The spa (they charge extra) is amazing. It was a little confusing that it was extra charge as the onsen is included, but when you’re at the Spa area, it’s amazing. Super modern and clean.

Bathrooms were outdated and could use an upgrade. Food in the restaurants were mainly made to look good but didnt taste great.
