Very bad food. Helpful staff. Place needs maintenance.

Terrible food. Fe. on lunch frozen, cold old piece of fish with mayo and ketchup (we are in RA…). Almost zero vege options. After long explanation chicken was served as a vege option…. Breakfast, same. We did not even touch it. Good we had own fruits; asked and helpful staff brought and served us own food. Also, I know I am at the Muslim land and respect that. But when I see a resort and it says bar, I do expect a cold beer. Nope. No alcohol. Place is old. Needs solid cleaning. Maintenance. Bright side: we managed to get a scooter. That gave us an option to be away, eat good food in nearby place and visit Waisai. Read about this city. Then you will understand why this and many buildings looks like this.. So.. thank you guys for fixing my fruits, thank you for a scooter but overall, no, thank you. Place is far away from the pictures presented..

The cabanas around the pool

The pool wasn’t full or even close. There was a smell in bathroom.

Lots of good food friendly staff beautiful location and plenty of privacy. All the food is local Indonesian which is what I look for when I travel. And an all you can eat buffet and the sun decks are nice

It’s not polished clean but it’s not dirty. Only one comfy lounge chair on the decks and difficult to find somewhere to watch the sunset

Food terrible, dry, the same for breakfast/lunch/dinner every single day, only asian. No drinks. Stuff dont speak english. No facilities. Bad rooms condition. Toilets filthy and have not even toilet paper, smelly and dirty. Most of the times there is nobody at the reception. No beach. Nothing around on the island, not evem 1 resto/cafe/bar. All abondoned. No internet and no wofi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Overpriced for the value

The swimming pool is incredable, state of the houses and appts. are good, beds sleep well. Beautiful restaurant.

No service concept. Food not that good and typical indonesia. However, choice very reduced, cold omeletts for breakfast, no beer available. Almost no guest

The hotel has a beautiful beach with kayaks available. The restaurant had good food and an amazing view, and the staff is widely available! The rooms were comfy, and we had a great view! The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly!

The bathroom tiles had mold, and the sewage backed up in the shower every time, bringing a bad sewage smell. Rules were not enforced by the staff! We had to inhale cigarette smoke every time we ate in the restaurant because the staff couldn't enforce the smoking policy! Disappointing!

The over-water bungalows were spacious, well-built, and comfortable.

There was no ladder to enter/exit the water for swimming, either from our terrace or from the end of the dock where the water was nice. So no snorkeling from the dock, which was the main reason I booked the over-water. Having no ladders is also a safety hazard if someone were to fall off the dock. There was also no wifi anywhere on the property, and no TV channels in the rooms. This is not normally important to me, but for such an expensive room one expects more.

location and house reef were great, and especially liked the bed comfort.

very bad constant sewer smell from the bathroom- this can easily be fixed with a plumbing solution (ie. u bend in floor outlet). Staff service very bad - staff constantly on break (eg. had to wait for coffee and drink from bar). Food very average

It is close to the main port

The rooms weren’t very clean and lacking in sound proofing as you were very much disturbed by the people in neighbouring rooms. the staff quarters were just behind our room which again was very noisy especially at 5.00am when they were getting ready to start work. We had a garden view room which basically looked directly onto the building 2.00m in front which wasn’t very pleasant. The pool had no seats or beds and therefore nowhere to sit. The food was very basic to say the least. The dive shop was mostly closed and therefore unless you had brought your own gear we we’re unable to go snorkelling. All of the above resulted in us cutting the stay short and we left early to another place which give better value for money and where we could actually get some sleep.
