Room and ampiance

Don't order food from there it's expensive and cleaning is poor in the room

It all starts with the high expectations while booking, upon seeing the property in the booking.com site but things are not gone well as expected.Let's start with the pros, 1. Good staff there, they behaved very well 2. Delicious food especially dinner3. Kid safe 4. 24/7 hot water and room service Cons 1. Huge disappointment about the amenities none I would say except the stay2. Parking issue or an important issue however they managed 3. No floor mat how many times u asked they said we will give in sometime that's the reply we got instead floor mat 4. Overall I would say out of 10 I will give 6.Suggestion to the property understand the customer needs and try to satisfy the options you have promised to do so. Places like hill station amenities like camp fire is very very basic if you are not able to provide the basic amenities then u start loosing customer sooner or later. Try to solve all those things.

Hotel ambience is fine. Staff are also nice. Only rhing is accessing is bit tough, as connecting road is very narrow and steep, local drivers may make out but unfamiliar drivers of thus terrain may face problem

The room is clean, located at main place. The staffs were friendly. The food provided is good.

Parking could have done better , should have provided telephone even to standard rooms.

Food was very good in the restaurant within the hotel. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Parking space was very less.

"I was initially unsure about the availability of parking due to the hotel being located on top of a hill. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find parking space conveniently located in front of the reception. Additionally, my room was adjacent to the reception, making access on the slope very easy. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, offering a stunning natural landscape. The room was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I had a 5-star experience at a budget-friendly price."

The receptionist was friendly and assisted me with everything.

Unforgettable experience. The staff were really conscious about each guest’s experience. The restaurants, Campfire, Jacuzzi Bath tub Mini Theatre so well maintained and rooms kept spotlessly clean. Well trained staff. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The Hotel was so sufficient and a great place to meet, eat and relax.Lovely room, great facilities and very courteous and helpful staff. Strongly recommend it! We always stay here as we love the location. The facility has a nice .Kidz Zone , Very kids friendly too.Quick and Great Stayover.The level of service and care from the staff and manager was wonderful. They were very attentive and helpful. Arranging transportation to the Kodai Lake & Bus Stand was easy and fast. It was a short stay over and a great visit. The location is a short 5-10min from the Kodai Bus Stand and is close to many areas to explore. Highly recommend

Location was good. Breakfast was late but good.

No hot water in the shower. Most of the time no one was at reception. My landline phone was not working. And staff was very loud at night, playing home theatre at maximum volume and running through the corridors. I was able to sleep once their employees slept:

Allotted us the worst rooms even though we booked early

Did not receive a good room even though we booked long time ago. Allotted us the worst rooms, and even after trying to check in the evening, room was not ready. The tap in the wash basin of one room was leaking, and rooms were very small. So, after wandering for some time, we moved to another nearby hotel which was far better than this. Service is not good. Only one person in the reception was doing everything. Did not see other staff.

Location was great exactly in Kodaikanal town. All the main food spots are nearby

Room was really not clean. The pillow cover bed cover was really untidy.

Horrible experience !!!

They say wifi is available, but they turn it off at 12AM exactlyThey say Campfire and music is available. But they just take down the music and put off the campfire exactly after an hourWe were group of 8, we were offered a FULL-COTTAGE, where there are no windows. Zero network cuz the so called cottage is in basement.The wooden walls inside the cottage are horribly disposing bad smell.Next comes the elephant foot. While checking in, they took my id proof and somehow I forgot to take it back (cuz we paid through multiple cards and forgot to take one). But guess what, they've returned my id to some other guy living in Kerala (Wtf ??). Horrible management staffI would recommend you to look for another stay if you're planning to spend your time peacefully in this beautiful town

Stay was very comfortable in Vivera Highlands hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious with facilities like Geyser, electric kettle etc. provided which are required in Kodaikanal climate. Staff & receptionist were warm, friendly and courteous. They themselves have a few cabs/taxis which you can book with a driver for sightseeing, with economical fares. They have a list of places which you can book as a package, or can choose which places you want to visit. The driver acted as a guide as well explaining the different places that we visited. They have a restaurant in their campus where we had breakfast (We had booked the rooms with breakfast included). Satisfied with the service overall !!

The room that we booked, though spacious and clean, didn't have ventilation. I guess there are other rooms with a balcony included where you will get ample ventilation, I should have booked them. Nevertheless it wasn't a deal breaker given the cold weather of Kodaikanal.

One boy( worker) helped a lot. I forgot his name., he helped us to park our vehicle in the parking place.

Vivera should provide rooms to the customers on time. I've got my room nearly at 1.00 pm which is one hour late.

Food is not satisfied because cappati, rotti, nan also same and the quantity of Curry is very low 9:00 pm is close restaurant and will order swiggi

Did not take breakfast from the Hotel as they cook Veg and Non-veg together in the same kitchen

Separate kitchen for Vegetarian would be better

Food is somewhat good when compared to other Hotels and employees are so Kind and Humble.

There is no reception staff available at required times. A little bit of extra care and maintenance could make my stay a little better.
