You can enjoy stargazing directly from your room or from the beach. Although the garden area is accessible, privacy is well handled the glass is non-reflective and curtains are provided.- Fantastic location: Located at the start of Cenang Beach, perfect for evening walks along the beach or nearby market areas.- Direct beach access: Rooms are right by the beach with direct access (not private, but very convenient).- Great breakfast: Combination of à la carte and buffet, with excellent fresh fruit, local Malaysian dishes, and made-to-order options.- Nice facilities: Pool with a small jacuzzi, gym, and an optional cooking class with the chef.- Special gestures: Staff go above and beyond, including birthday surprises at breakfast for guests.

- Early check-in can be difficult: Especially during peak season due to the hotel’s small size, though they offer alternatives like complimentary breakfast or relaxing in the lounge.- Older furniture: The hotel is a bit old, most things are fine, but the bathtub showed signs of age.- Insects: Expect some insects in the room or garden due to the natural surroundings. This is normal in Langkawi, and the hotel provides guidance on how to manage it.

Wonderful boutique hotel with 5 star service. Staff greeted us by name and remembered preferences. Location on beach is ideal.

The hotel is very well situated, close to restaurants, convenience stores like 7-Eleven, and even the aquarium, which is only a 10-minute walk away. There are also other resorts and many shops nearby, making it easy to enjoy the surroundings without always staying inside the hotel.I also really appreciated the customer service. The staff was always attentive and caring, making sure guests had everything they needed, whether it was food, drinks, or clean and dry towels. The service felt very personalized, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the internet connection. The Wi-Fi was not always stable, and streaming options like Netflix or Amazon Prime required personal accounts that I couldn’t use. It would be great if the technology could be improved.

It was very quit and just few meters to front beach, the area was very good and near by a street full of shops

I originally booked 6 nights but ended up staying 13, that should tell you how much I enjoyed it.The hotel is right on the beach, which makes everything feel effortless and relaxing. No big buildings or long hallways, just a cozy, low-rise place with a real family atmosphere. I stayed on the ground floor, and it felt very private and peaceful.I loved how easy everything was. You can walk straight to the beach or the pool in your swimsuit, or just throw on something light and head to the restaurant. It puts you in a truly beach state of mind.Also, the staff were amazing: always friendly, warm, and helpful, whether at the reception, restaurant, or bar.It’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect, especially after the busy pace of city life.

We had the most relaxing week in years. The excellent staff service, hospitality and courtesy combined with the quality of food and general peaceful ambience of casa del Mar left us wanting to book a return holiday as soon as we can. Its location at the quiet end of the beach is great. We swam in the pool and the sea. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and good selection of shops for souvenirs and gifts. Loved our room too. A studio with sea view.

So many positives, lovely rooms, the location was amazing and the staff were so nice, really made the effort with us and made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived

the place is so clean and fancy

the food was very bad including breakfast and in room . Also the music sound from the beach at night was very loud and stay until 4 AM

We liked everything about our stay here. The staff, the food, the amenities, the beach access, the rooms. Everything was lovely. We loved spending time by the pool with a complimentary jug of ice water. We also really enjoyed the breakfast selection.

We did have to buy a compulsory Christmas Day dinner, which we weren’t aware of prior to our arrival. The dinner was tasty, but very expensive. The treadmill in the gym was also broken.

The restaurant service

Quality of Breakfast was good. But ala cart menu style was disappointed. And i had to wait 15 minutes every time I request the food. Thats unacceptable for what I paid for my stay

1. I was taken aback when I heard that my card was already charged even before I entered the hotel. Normally hotel would ask me whether same card ( given during the booking) or different card. But here they already charged even before I come. Thats I feel kind of unfair. 2. Ala cart food for this price?? No way!3. They were not able to issue the invoice of my stay because they said they cant. But same booking.com, i booked my KL stay at Pavilion hotel, they issued Invoice. Strange policy which was not good for guest

Room whilst large, clean and well furnished was a little dated in the electrical department, the bathroom could do with a refurb

fantastic experience from start to finish. smooth checkin (they were kind to allow us an early checkin by 4 hours). our room was clean and spacious.the pool area and the jacuzzi was well-maintained, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring. the food was really good too, a mix of traditional and international cuisine. exceptional customer service. the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

The staff are exceptional and need to be protected at all costs. There is a fantastic attention to detail and we felt very looked after.The location is great at the quiet (and clean) end of the main beach. The pool is lovely looking out onto the beach.Food was great across all meals. Breakfast buffet is just enough but you are also able to order as much of the hot menu which we appreciated.

Friends had recommended Casa to us and we were very pleased that it met our expectations and in fact exceeded them. The beach side location was perfect as was the location of our rooms. The staff were delightful and we would the opportunity to return.
