The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi

My husband and I loved everything here! From the moment you enter the lobby to the transition to the rooms, and the overall experience of staying at Ritz Carlton - it’s simply a dream and a delight. The staff were always smiling and were ever so caring and helpful. The hospitality of Mimi and Saifuddin (and so many other staff members but didn’t catch their names) are unmatched. If you’re looking for the perfect stay in Langkawi, look no further!

From the check-in process until check-out, everything was well managed and satisfactory. Overall, everything was perfect, and our 3night stay away from the busy city provided a truly relaxing and fulfilling vacation. Thanks

Overall, our stay was satisfactory. However, there was an incident where housekeeping was cleaning our villa and I waited outside by the pool during the process. After the cleaning was completed, the glass door was locked without informing me. This caused some inconvenience for me, as I had to proceed to the reception area (abit far from our villa) to request a room key card since my phone was left inside the villa.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi was truly out of this world. Set within breathtaking natural surroundings, every detail reflected calm, luxury, and thoughtful design. What elevated the experience even further was the exceptional staff, warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every moment memorable. From arrival to departure, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely immersed in something very special.

Amazing location, right in the jungle. Beautiful hotel garden. I stayed in a Rainforest villa and absolutely loved it. Great service at the room, at the reception & by the loyalty manager.

The staff, the cleanness, the food

The resort is absolutely stunning! Beautiful nature and full of peace. The food is exceptional, with plenty of delicious vegan options even at breakfast.A special thanks to Budi, a wonderful yoga teacher and knowledgeable hiking guide. His classes and hikes were real highlights of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Ritz Carlton Langkawi and would like to thank all the staffs who made our trip so wonderful, especially room attendance (Mehedi) prepared a special towel art to accompany my daughter's little Jelly Cat...its so cute?.My daughter loves it so much?. Once again, thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you all in near future.

Almost everything

Unfortunately there was renovation in the villa beside mine and it was very annoying to enjoy during the day despite I asked to change my villa but didn’t happen

There is no middle eastern restaurant

I like the weather and the staff are really nice and kind. They view is really beautiful

Food is not really good

We had a water front villa which was marvelous. Very spacious inside and outside with total privacy. Great service inside and outside the villa. Very nice breakfast buffet. Buggy service was excellent. The staff was extremely trained and very gentle. An exceptional thanks to the Loyalty Manager - Miki Ken who made the "impossible" -> possible for making our stay unforgettable.

The food in the restaurants could be better. The international cuisine was not so good , it had an asian flavour.

I only have one concern, which is the availability of restaurants, as they are always fully booked, and there should be a way to manage all the guests.Also, they should provide E-scooters to each room so people can commute themself as calling buggies is little time consuming.

Only the issue with buggies as i was not been able to fully see the resort. if there was scooter for each room i would have taken the full round myself.

Excellent service from the entire team. We truly enjoyed our stay and was delighted by the little gestures supported by housekeeping. Staff were all friendly and welcoming!

Horizon could have been made available to children for more dining options since Hai Yan was closed during the weekend we were there.

Room comfort

Staff kept forgetting orders, buggy waits at restaurants exceeding 15 minutes most times, smelly toilette in the room, lack of international buffet options at breakfast, waiting for a space to seat to have breakfast sometimes exceeding 15 minutes. Food options around the hotel during the day is very limited. Overall not a Rotz carlton standards

The breakfast was perfect and had everything we wanted. The room was very clean and very well serviced. The adult pool was a great place to relax. Hotel food was amazing but on the pricey side

The open bathroom in the room

It was my first time staying at Ritz Carlton property. And I must say it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we step there till the very last second we had a wonderful time. Every staffs we encounter were very professional and on top of their game. Services were splendid. Food was perfection, every meal we had was exceptional. Buggy service was very quick too, not once had to wait more than couple of minutes. The ambience was gorgeous. Room service was another amazing experience, coming back to our room and seeing all the little details that our housekeeping team had done to make our stay comfortable was such a special experience. Leaving a hotel was a bitter sweet feeling since we had such memorable stay.

Facilities, comfort of the room

All activities should be included ( kids club activities and beach activities ) , it would be better to adjust the rooms price and don’t charge these kind of activities separately. Staff at the beach could be more efficient , only one day they serve fruit at the beach and for water it was us that have to go and refill the glasses.
