Nice quiet pool to relax. Staff were v.helpful & friendly.

Some guests tend to reserve their 'benches/seats' at the pool by placing personal belongings, but did not even show up at the pool. This is inconsiderate and selfish behavior; it deprives others from using the more desirable/shady areas at the pool.

This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Langkawi. Best of all was the kind and caring staff who were amazing!

I would not stay here again.

Mold on the tile joints in the bathroom and even after we asked them to clean them, they were only plastered. The room was dusty and the surfaces of the furniture were stained.The terrace is a fenced part of the hotel yard with upholstered furniture on which cats lie, which stain the seating areas and smell bad. It is not possible to use them.

I like the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was good for me actually.

The cleanliness can be improved and the beds and pillows as well. The walls are thins so if guest in other rooms are noisy you can hear everything.

Location was ideal and the staff were very friendly

our only small complaint was that the TV had a terrible picture, not that we were there to watch TV

It's one of the better priced options in the area. The hotels in langkawi are hit & miss if you're on a budget. It was fine for what is was, similar hotels in this price range looked sketchy to me. This property was a good option.

its a a low budget property, but okay over all compared to similar hotels.

The room is very clean (even for those who are obsessed with cleanliness). Super friendly and responsive staff. The pool was also very clean. We had a very comfortable stay. Daily housekeeping, water, coffee/tea bags and towels included. The supermarket is right in front of the hotel.

The location is 12 mins walk to the beach. But grab ride to the beach costs only 4 MYR ($1) which is very cheap. Apart from that, there is nothing to complain about.

I had a truly enjoyable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. Their warm hospitality made a big difference—from the cheerful smiles to the genuine eagerness to assist.The breakfast was good, and I especially appreciated the generous gesture of offering us a traditional Malaysian breakfast to try—it was a thoughtful and memorable touch.The location is also ideal—very close to many popular attractions, making it convenient to explore the area.

There were insects and mosquitoes, which is somewhat expected given the proximity to nature. However, the staff were always quick to help and provided mosquito repellent or solutions whenever needed, so it was manageable and didn’t affect the overall comfort of my stay.

We were very happy with the breakfast, the room could have been a bit bigger and the pool was fine.

A bigger room and decent water pressure in the shower.

We had a delayed connecting flight in Singapore meaning we arrived a day later than our original booking, which obviously the hotel cannot do anything about. But we tried to reach the hotel via Booking, phone and email to discuss the situation but no feedback received. Then the next day we arrived and luckily our room was still there, they even told us clearly we would have a place for 3 nights as per our booking but we would have to change rooms after the 2nd night, which I can understand as our room was probably booked by someone else after our original booking. However, then the next morning (after night 1) the staff came knocking on our door if we could please switch rooms for our last night in another room as we had to leave the hotel the next day, which was completely different from what they told us before. We had to change our travel plans last minute which was frustrating, and also I don’t understand why we had to change rooms on our original booking still. All in all very bad communication from the hotel.

Good place to stay. The room was ok, clean.Good location - close to the airport, 10 minutes walk to the beach, shop on the opposite side. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

if anything - a small renovation would be useful, e.g. silicone in the bathroom

Poorly soundproofed walls, you can hear you neighbors talk.

The property was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The pool was well tended and welcome on a hot day. The breakfast was a bit limited in options but it was made on order which was a nice change from the usual buffet breakfasts. The location was an easy walk to the beach and approximately a 1 km walk to the centre of town. The supermarket and laundry across the street was very handy. For further distances, Grab taxis are very inexpensive.

The rooms furthest from the pool were very noisy but the staff accommodated a room change for me.

Environment, facilities and clean

The room is located in a courtyard with a very nice swimming pool in the middle and furniture for sitting outside the room. Furniture for sunbathing around the swimming pool. All areas are very clean and well-maintained. Great location close to the airport and within walking distance to the center and the beach. Great supermarket on the opposite side of the road. One of the best restaurants OK Boss few hundred meters away right-hand side of Road 154. Breakfast is served in English or Malayan style. The Internet worked very well and was fast and responsive.

There is a lot of traffic on the main road outside the building you will hear it in the room in the evening.

SCAMMERS

They scammed us. The property told us that there’s a scam going around and 5 other customers had been caught out by it but they are doing nothing to prevent it. It is impossible to contact the property directly and all calls/emails go to somewhere in India which is probably where my money is now. If you book this hotel and get an email and message on booking.com with a link to confirm your card details do not do it. I phoned booking.com before clicking the link and even they said it was a legit link but it was definitely not. The “manager” at the hotel did absolutely nothing to help and made us talk to someone on the phone from India. I would definitely avoid booking this hotel and would recommend paying the extra money to stay in the Mercure Hotel just along the road.

The relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. A short walk to the fantastic beach. A great breakfast to start your day. Brilliant staff.

We have stayed at the Telaga Terrace several times now, this was our first visit back since COVID19. We realise the hard times these hotels faced during the pandemic, it must have been very difficult for them. We did feel like the hotel needed some upgrading. A lick of paint could do wonders for a room. Some of the tiles need to be repaired, and re grouting done. A good deep clean. We still really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return again. It’s just constructive advice, nothing nasty.
