Ombak Villa Langkawi

The place was warm and welcoming. The pool and room were clean and beautiful. Pleasant experience all around. Grateful for the staff shuttling us around in golf carts too!

The pool was the best part of the stay.

The rooms were spacious but felt very old. 2 days into the trip and our AC in the room was making a loud noises all night so we didn’t use our ac for the whole stay which was a bit uncomfortable at 35 degrees c

Room size was quite decent - much bigger than many other resorts. The bathroom was big as well! The resort is clean but there is no proper beach adjacent to the resort. The resort is overall clean and the lawns and swimming pool are nicely maintained.

One has to climb stairs to get to the room if the room is on second (top) floor. Breakfast items were limited much of it were Indian food items. The resort is very close to the Airport and therefore far away from the main center city attractions particularly Cenang Beach (Pantai Cenang). There are also no restaurants close to the resort - so one has to depend on the on-site restaurant or drive 25 minutes to Pantai Cenang.

Absolutely great location, great views (if chosen properly), also good food when ordered from the room service menu.

The complementary breakfast was absolutely below average and unexpected from a Hotel like Ombak. Rooms are a hit or miss, they have weird layout in certain rooms, i got one with a bad toilet seat and very low lights in all rooms including the Washroom.

The facilities, cleanliness, location, and overall atmosphere were truly wonderful, and I really enjoyed the place.However, I was disappointed with the behavior and attitude of some of the staff members. Unfortunately, a few employees were not professional, not helpful, and did not show a welcoming attitude or even a simple smile. This negatively affected the overall experience, despite how great the hotel and the rest of the services are.I strongly believe that these staff members need proper training, especially in customer service, communication skills, and hospitality standards. A friendly attitude and a welcoming smile make a huge difference in the guest experience.I am writing this feedback because your hotel has great potential, and with better staff training, the experience would be truly perfect.Thank you for your time and attention. No swimming on beach

The cozy ambience. Super clean. The bath tub. Beautiful room. Very private. Pool is good.

The beach is not for swimming.

I liked the hotel’s outdoor areas, the views, and its beachfront location the most. the staff was supportive and helpful

The hotel breakfast was not good — it was very simple and had no variety at all. Also, I had originally booked a sea-view villa for three nights, but the bed and furniture were very old and made squeaking noises, so we couldn’t sleep well on the first night. We asked the hotel to change our room, but after checking several other sea-view villas, we found that they all had the same problem. Therefore, we had to move to the suite villas of the same resort and pay an additional 160 RM

It got most serenity view but since it’s located in middle of forest except big insects & not much of your type of food

Breakfast was not good enough. Not enough variety. We also complained on the 2nd day that our toilet bowl cap was broken, but until we left, no one came and replaced/repaired it.

Clean and spacious room. Nice balcony in the ground floor with a garden view. Bathroom felt a bit dated but fully functional. Great ambience. Good facilities like restaurant and pool, which we did not use - spent most of the time outside the hotel.

The villa was very nice and the beach view was exceptional.

The staffs were not very helpful. Reception closed at 12 am and no way to contact them for emergencies.Also we requested extra cutleries during our stay and they were unable to provide the ones we wanted.

i love the surrounding, the calmness, the aesthetic of the resort concept, clean environment, great view from our room! also staff is very helpful and friendly. loveeeeee

when at night its too dark, too afraid to walk around, maybe can put few solar lights? :)

The views are absolutely stunning.

The service was super slow and the staff sometimes were absolutely indifferent like they are not that helpful neither bothered to smile. Some seemed bothered we were there. The breakfast was lower than average with very limited selections. If we ordered room service it took them a while to deliver. I asked for a pillow day one and then they delivered the next day after I had to call them again. The beds were pretty small, my husband is 5ft 10 inch and his legs were hanging off the bed.
