Patty was a wonderful host. She let us rent her car and gave us fantastic recommendations for places to eat and places to go. Patty’s attention to detail in her decorating had me discovering something new each time I came back to the guest house.

The area in front of the property looks to be under construction so it’s a bit of an eyesore at the moment but it really wasn’t bad at all. Patty’s gardens are beautiful.

Patti rented us her car so we were able to explore the NW and NE part of Langkawi. Apartment had a Neat outdoor shower. Jetty, even though it was not so picturesque, it was a nice place to enjoy the sunset from.

We love the peacefulness and quiet location, away from the usual busy city life. Patty was such an excellent host! She took every effort to make sure my son and I had a comfortable stay including great recommendations on places to go/try. We had a car rented from Patty at a very reasonable rate, which was really useful to get around the island. Highly recommended to stay here if you are looking for something away from the usual resorts/hotel:)

Such an amazing heritage house! Really homey, and nice to have conveniences like fridge and tea provided. Slightly out of the way, but also Grabs were no problem and we were happy chilling in the place anyway. Not on the beach, as some photos suggest, but great nonetheless! We only had hot water in one bathroom - but that might have been for fault for not turning a switch or sth - wasn't enough of an issue to pursue. Highly recommend friendly Patty and her property ?

Patty is a very friendly and helpful hostess. Check-in was easy.

Property is not like in the posting pictures. We stayed in one of the two studios. The bedroom is dark and has no windows to the outside. There is a new building under construction right in front that blocks most of the ocean view. Heavy construction equipment across the access road.

Very nice place , quiet, very clean and well maintained. The staff was super helpful from the start and throughout with tips and recommendations. We had a great stay. This place is a bit away from main, you REALLY need a car ou scooter to go around.

Whilst the room is very comfortable and well kept, and this is a nice secluded area of Langkawi, it is really Patty the host that makes this place so good! From start to finish she was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Patty made sure I had a lovely breakfast every morning and knew all of the best spots in Langkawi. Always on WhatsApp as well in case I needed anything whilst I was out and let me leave a bag whilst I went to Koh Lipe for a few days. Car available to rent and its very clean and comfortable. If you are coming to Langkawi as a solo traveller or couple then this is a must! Thanks again Patty!

Patty was a great hostess - friendly, helpful but not intrusive.

The pictures suggested beach or sea views across the street but there was construction there instead which was noisy and blocked the view. Also noise due to owner having work done while I was there. Too hot for alfresco living space so essentially I paid for bed and bath. Not a good value for the money.

This is a small hut at the end of a countryside road. Its clean and just what you need for a good nights sleep. No luxury enviroment but an oporturnity to experince something different. Some fishermen have their boats at the end of the pir.If you want you can see beautiful sunrise and sunset. Patty, the hostess is very helpful to make your days filled with good memories.If you want you can order breakfast. Patty will deliver it to your room on a tray.At the main road you can find a nice restaurant named Santai. Good food and helpful staff.To stay at Experience Island Heritage home is something different to other turist playses. Its a very special and unik experience to stay at the end of the road in this spot of a fisherman village.

Patty was a very attentive hostess and very friendly!! It was very clean and the breakfast plentiful. Thank you very much! I'd love to come back!

Very good host. She will make sure that you have have a good time on the Island. She can help organizing transport and places to visit.

Not really anything about the place.

We loved Susan and Patty! They are the loveliest and kindest hosts someone could ever hope for and that we’ve ever had! If we had any questions or problems they helped us out so well!! The room has everything it needs and it is more than easy to rent a car from them. Not only that but they will help you planning your trip and giving you tips of what to see of the beautiful island. We recommend staying at the experience island heritage home very much and will definitely come back.

Fabulous little find down a quiet road and next to a little deserted beach. Lovely host Patty, couldn’t do enough for us xx

Very peaceful and quiet location by the beach in a fishing village. Patty, our host was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend renting a scooter.

Only good things to say about this place.

Beautiful original wooden Chinese fishing house within/near an active fishing pier. Lovely to walk out on to the pier for photo op and view. Large open living area below rooms. Kitchen superbly equipped . Particularly enjoyable were the freshly baked bread and pastries from their own bakery! Lovely furnished home with family feel. Also great, that owner arranged for a rental car, which you need to explore more. And down the road is an excellent restaurant (Saitan)

The highlight was the welcome and friendliness of our lovely hosts, Patty and her sister Sue.Renting their car, and on reasonable terms, proved very helpful in enabling us to explore the island and visit the many sights that Patty so helpfully recommended.We greatly enjoyed their company and the breakfasts we were able to order from Sue.

Unfortunately a lot of construction work was ongoing in the vicinity - but it was lovely to see the fishing boats at the nearby jetty.

We were very nicely welcomed by Patty and Susan. They helped us make our stay unforgettable.They helped us booking a scooter and give us ample addresses to visit and to eat.The house has kept a lot of its original charm. It feels like being back in a kampong. It is a unique setting, far away from the maddening crowd.The kitchen has all facilities and Patty provides a simple yet nice DIY breakfast.

We have seen pictures of the house as it was in the past, on the beach. That must have been fantastic. Unfortunately things have changed since and the surroundings are less appealing. But this is more than compensated by the magnificent house and very welcoming hosts. Definitely a unique experience!

Nice cosy place, adjacent to a spectacular family home, i.e., home of the owner that studied and lived in the UK, Spain and Switzerland. Paty has been very friendly and helpful througout the stay. It was also convenient to rent her car for a day at a very fair price.
