The Ocean Residence Langkawi

Spacious place with a nice view of the ocean. Good for a family who is looking for a tranquil and quiet break.

Just some improvement points It has a nice pool with a great view just need some care - it would be great for the place. The sign or road of entry- did not expect such a nice place - based on the signboard/road of entry. My two cents.

Very friendly staff, great sea view and facilities! The short road to access the hotel was a little bumpy and could use some rework.

It’s got a beautiful view. The staff are excellent.

The property is not deigned well. There are rusted metal wall panels. The washroom windows are not frosted. There is no security at the entrance.

The property is right on the water, views are pretty. There were two pools to choose from. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the workers was maintaining the property one morning, and kindly cut us two coconuts to drink from the tree by the room. There were other guests in the rooms near us, but the room was still very quiet. Felt very peaceful to stay there.

The stuff was exceptionally helpful and polite. Though the location was far from good restaurants and beaches, the place was really peaceful with less people around. It was possible to order grab and they delivered right to the room. So if you want to take a break from a hustle and bustle then this place is amazing to stay for 2-3 days.

It was clean and there was a straight entrance to the pool from the room. The pool needs to be renovated a bit.

Location-just next to the sea it’s not a beach and can’t swim though),calmness & privacy

There was not any restaurant. Thus, no breakfast option. The location is far from everything.

Yes the owner is lovely she gave us a better room close to the pool, they have too swimming pool, one was nice and clean but the other one was not to clean! But that’s ok

One men that was working at the place crash our rent car and doesn’t have money to pay it and the owner don’t offer to help. It was not our fault amd we have to pay for the repair… it’s happens I know but I think she solid to offer something and he didn’t . Thanks good that we has euro and the currency is better and we can pay it.

This ambiance and views around the property. The pool was clean. The staff were great. We took a verandah suite but unfortunately it was not what we expected or thought, the veranda is accessible only from the 2 upstairs bedrooms. There’s no sitting room in this suite and it’s not easily accessible to bring your food up .

It’s nothing like the pics show. Peeling, old and stained furniture. While it must have been great in its heyday, i would rate this a 1.5 or 2 star. Stayed there 3 nights, on the last night when we came back, there was flying ants all over coming out of the walls. It’s very old & has not been maintained to any 3 star standard.

I loved the location it was nice to be off on our own, very quiet, beautiful sunrise :)

The long pool at the long house is magnificent. It was really convenient to bring our children to swim because the pool is connected to our long house. The view from our long house is astonishing. The location is quite isolated, so it is really peaceful while staying here. The parking space is really close to our long house, so not much hassle to carry things and kids around.

The restaurant was closed, so we had to buy meals from outside. However, there are many food stalls, restaurants and mini markets nearby. It'd be nice if the restaurant is open for breakfast.

Room and amenities are ok.

Too much expensive considering that they dont provide breakfast. Some adjacent rooms are bit shabby. I think the property management is not serious about running the business. Cats and dogs are here and there. No security measures are seen.

Best place ever, superb view from our Villa. The rooms were clean, very comfortable & the staff was amazing. Thank you again ?

Great location, just 10 minutes drive to Kuah Town. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. The attending staffs were friendly and nice. Overall a good stay, will definitely come back and suggest it to my friends and families visiting Langkawi.
