Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

The room design was beautiful and so well thought out, with everything we needed right at hand (from mosquito spray, aloe vera gel, plenty of fresh towel, speakers, etc…) It was also very close to the beach, which made it even more special.All the restaurants we tried offered excellent food, and every staff member we met was genuinely friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable.One highlight of our trip was the massage experience, it was absolutely exceptional and left us completely relaxed.The resort itself is very well maintained. We were surrounded by stunning nature and diverse (beautifully designed) amenities that truly elevated our stay.

While our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a few areas that could be improved.The resort is quite overpriced, and we faced some inconveniences during our stay. The hot water in our room broke in the middle of the night and took a long time to be fixed, which disrupted our plans the next day. The following morning, the water initially ran brown and I had to wait around 15 minutes before it cleared.The cleanliness could also be improved — the curtains in our room were dirty, and the beach had noticeable trash such as water bottles, which took away from the otherwise beautiful setting.Lighting around the resort is another area that could be enhanced. In the evenings we often had to rely on our phone flashlights to see where we were walking. Adding lights in the back areas and along the beach would make it safer and more enjoyable to use at night.Lastly, housekeeping changed our room key without notifying us, and it took quite a while to receive the replacement, which was inconvenient

The location, the staff, the food in the Malaysian restaurant was excellent (Indian can be better) and the massage with EKA was great!

I felt its somehow old, Needs to pay attention to some maintenance, including doors, locks, curtains, showers, and Jacuzzi

Excellent, sprawling property with vast, expansive and beautiful beach. Very low density development, so never feels crowded. Three excellent restaurants, especially the Indian restaurant (Hava) was the best for us. Service is excellent - they are willing to go the extra mile with a smile! The beach villa with plunge pool is directly on the beach - this is the best way to enjoy this gem of a property.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.The food was beyond delicious! Chef Balwant was outstanding—each meal he prepared was bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. Every dining experience was a delight. One highlight was the Sunset Private Dinner—it’s a must-do! Dining while watching the sunset in such a serene setting was truly unforgettable.Overall, our time at Four Seasons Langkawi was exceptional, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway!

Very tranquil, zen and a haven to retreat and return to after a day of activities. The resort, beach, space, surrounding nature and staff are all very special. I would gladly stay here for a whole week or two!

The property is so vast that you generally have to rely on a buggy to take you around, and compared to other hotels in Langkawi the prices are on the high end with no special offers (again compared to other hotels on the island)

Great location, lovely views of sunset, good room size and amenities, great swimming pool, good food, great staff.

Could be more reasonably priced.

Location, complimentary bike hire and kids club. Our kids (age 8 and 11) loved going to kids club, so my husband and I were able to enjoy some time by ourselves.

I didn’t learn about the Pilates/yoga classes on offer until I saw a sign about it in the Spa on our last day. Had I known it was available, I would’ve loved to attend the classes.

Amazing fast and clear communication via WhatsApp with the concierge, delicious breakfasts, amazing view, pools and of course people working there !

plastic bottles and other rubbish on the beach area only during evening time after the sea tides, was not nice to see it

Somewhat out of the way, but that’s probably why it has such a big and beautifully kept compound

It was a paradise for real. everything was beautiful, clean and specious. The staff were super kind and helpful you can't but love them and feel that you are home.

The beach is not perfect for swimming as the water is not clean.

Slow check in process, they need more golf buggies to speed up guest transfers, need to ensure the safety of upper rooms to children (easy for children to fall down or jump)

Enjoyed the stay for 5 days, the room very specious, staff are all great, helpful, make your stay very pleasant. 2 different pools , 3 restaurants however the Malaysian resturant food was very delicious.

The beach and the view is absolutely amazing. We stayed for nights and the breakfast was amazing although it can feel a bit repetitive after the 2nd day. They do change some of the dishes though. The staffs behavior are on another level. Extremely welcoming very warm and very helpful. Both of our kids (8G and 10B)also had an amazing time. They were either cycling (complimentary) or at the kids pool, which by the was very safe and did not need any supervision or they were busy at the kids club which is supervised by their lovely staff.Then we also had dinner by the beach, the food was simply outstanding just wish we could have enjoyed the food but couldn't due to mosquitos and insects biting on us. Hopefully the concern department can take care of this issue.They have two pools one is dedicated to adults only and then there is the family pool. I honestly loved the idea of having a private cavana right infront of the pool. You can lovedovey and all romantic with the missus all in your own little private area where no one can peek. We really enjoyed it.

The insect and mosquito problem needs to addressed. Kills the joy to experience the deliciousness of the food of their international restaurant. Try their steak, it is mindblowing.Room service needs to be a lot quicker though. One the first night of our stay, as it usually happens we were a bit tired and lazy to go out so we ordered room service and then had to wait close to an hour and a half to receive our food.

We were just for one Night at FS. But the Stay was memorable, the Hotelstuff is truly there for you in every need. Our Room was huge, just in the near of the childspool and Beach. Perfect with a Baby. The Food in the Restaurants is very good. Our stay was just a 10*

The experience was very special. Team is very local and really helpful throughout the 2 week stay that we had. Garden room large, with outdoor shower and jacuzzi. Nice walk to breakfast and close to restaurants. Restaurants quite expensive (especially wine), but food quantity is such that plates were shared and were more than sufficient. Quality of food and service very good. Ecocentre and mangrove 'swamps', together with Langkawi cable car (go early) must do visits whilst in Langkawi. Taxis on Langkawi by Grab app, which was ridiculously inexpensive and easily justified high levels of tipping. Beach wonderful, but jellyfish restriction for sea swimming (Feb). Overall, lovely place and people, backed by excellent Four Seasons culture.
