The rooms must be cleaned by the staff daily. We had to call since morning till afternoon to get our room cleaned and it was very annoying to again and again call for the said purpose. the cleaning was not good. Proper dry brush and then wet mop should be done. Cleaning services dissappointed

Premier Pool View Booking Not Honoured – Given Standard Room Instead

This review is specifically regarding the room allocation experience, which was poorly managed and misleading.We had clearly booked and paid for a Premier category room with a pool view, yet at check-in we were allocated a standard room that did not match the booked category in either size or view. This was not a matter of preference or upgrade availability — it was a clear downgrade from the confirmed booking.The explanation provided by the front desk was vague and lacked transparency. There was no upfront acknowledgement that the room allocated did not match the Premier pool-view category, nor any proactive effort to correct the situation. Guests should not be expected to question or negotiate a room type that has already been paid for.Additionally, an important detail that is not clearly highlighted during booking is that all rooms at this property are connecting rooms. This has implications for privacy and noise, and guests should be made explicitly aware of this before confirming a reservation. It is something travellers — especially families or those valuing privacy — should think twice about before booking.For a property operating under a well-known brand, the failure to honour a Premier category booking and the lack of transparency around room configurations is unacceptable. This experience significantly undermined confidence in the hotel’s reservation integrity and front desk operations.

The location is serene. Away from the hustle bustle, quiet peaceful.

The property seems veey old, and requires renovation. The rooms were clean but bath tub could use a replacement.

Location and room view was amazing overlooking the water and beautiful marina area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fan and air conditioning in the room.

Our biggest issue was the bathrooom area, which was dirty and in need of significant update. We were missing required amenities and notified the front desk staff about the cleanliness issue. They only provided us the missing amenity and did not address the cleanliness at all but noted it must have been the prior guests.

Location was spectacular. Pool was enchanting.

Had a fantastic experience at Resorts World Langkawi. One thing to note is the location; I initially thought it was right on the main beach, but it is actually about a 10-minute drive away from Cenang Beach, where most of the activities happen. While the rooms and the building feel quite old and need some maintenance, the service made up for it. The staff were great and even gave us a free room upgrade to a sea view room, which was a lovely surprise.The facilities were fun, featuring a beautiful infinity pool, a gym, and a gaming area with billiards (though you do have to buy a drink to play). One of the highlights was the breakfast, which had a huge variety of food for everyone. Even though the building is a bit dated, the view and the hospitality made it a wonderful stay.

I contacted the hotel in advance and asked if they could shift our fully prepaid booking back by just one day. The exact same room category was showing as available, yet they flatly refused any adjustment or goodwill gesture.Having worked for several years in the corporate Guest Relations department at IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), I know from the inside how flexible most hotel systems and policies actually are—especially for a simple one-night shift due to an airline schedule change that was completely outside our control.In the end the hotel kept 100 % of the money for a room we never used, which has left us with no desire to ever return. We did drive past the property on our way out of Langkawi and it looked lovely, but the complete lack of flexibility and understanding was very disappointing.”Rating: Disliked · Not accommodating at all when things went wrong through no fault of ours.

Not accommodating

Amazing sea views. Friendly and accommodating staff. Cleaners did their best despite the badly maintained rooms. Tasty and wide selection for breakfast.

Old fashioned and badly maintained toilet, shower, and mouldy around sink which wasn’t shown in the hotel booking photos. Doors are in bad shape and fitted poorly which means when it rains, the wind blew rain water through gaps under the balcony sliding doors into the room. Curtains were faded and dirty. All rooms are adjoining rooms with poor noise insulation between rooms. We could hear clear and loudly guests talking in the next room as well as anyone who walks past. Noisy music from hotel bar on ground floor till midnight.

Everything, absolutely everything I left my stay after 2nd night eventhough I had paid for 4 nights.Ithe pictures are not the same as the room at allthey've given us a connected room and it's not isolated by any meansthe bed was squicking since we got in the bathroom has no ventilation so it smells really badthe room had no black out curtains so the sunlight was in the room since sunriseIt was absolutely terrible and the staff are not friendly by any means. and the worst part is that the hotel is more like the graduation destination. for the entire primary schools of langkawi and when we were there for the 2 days we were in it was overcrowded with kids that are running around like it's a local street.the pictures are a fraud.

Good infinity pool

What a terrible experience. Every step of the way, the resort just disappointed me. Had to ask for room cleaning 3 times at the reception. Had to talk to the manager just so we can open the umbrella at the pool when it's really hot. The view is good, but there's absolutely nothing around the resort. Can't play pool, unless you pay more! They claim they have 5 types of restaurants. Asked for pizza, they didn't have it. Asked for salad, they didn't have it. Beer, nope. Even our room lights were not working properly. Electricians had to come to fix it. Plus, mold was in the bathroom. It's not the fault of the staff, it's the fault of management. I can't recommend this "resort" to anyone.

MY Room had a Wonderful Ocean Bay and a Small Boating Marina view!!! It was quite and View made it all Good!!

The Bathroom and Shower area NEED TO BE CLEANED AND RESTORED !! Bathroom sink faucet needs repaired !!

The view was amazing. Walking around the deck was very mesmerizing. Breakfast was good.

The facilities are a little oldish. Especially the washroom and bathroom separation and in room basin is inconvenient. Washroom has no proper ventilation system.

The location of this resort is superb. The view from the property, adjacent jetty, infinity swimming pool was exceptional. Had a great comfort and relaxed vacation.

i love the room as i chose the room to be sea view. It was awesome that it is a connected room as i was booked 2 rooms with family member stay together. Nice, clean and comfort.
