    Pros +

    • Tasteful decor (very artistic :)), central location, friendly staff.
    • The Rooms and especially the location of the hotel. Also the kind staff. I slept in the bed like a baby.
    • Lovely little hotel, we had a spacious king room at the side of pool. Parking and excellent location

    Cons -

    • It was a little hard to find at night - we drove past twice and only realized its front is an art studio. Also more expensive than other places but the decor makes up for it.
    • I had to go after 4 days, back to germany. That was not so nice ;-)
    • Breakfast is off-site next door in a cafe. It was OK, but selection is limited and I'm sorry to say the coffee was awful.

The staff were fantastic. They were so helpful and accommodating. The property was very clean and very close to the beach. They could do with some touch ups. I would definitely stay with them again. Fatin was amazing.

Good location. Lobby nice and clean. Pool area nice. The bathrooms were disgusting. So dirty and mouldy. Not fully tiled, no extractor and no shower screen so water goes everywhere. Part of our ceiling fell in due to damp so moved rooms but that rooms bathroom not nice either. Hole in the dirty bed base. Breakfast at cafe next door with only 5 options and can only choose 1. The price of this hotel is not warranted by the state of the rooms. I would not recommend.

Very nice location and the room was very comfortable. The staff was super nice. Highly recommended

The location is really good and convenient! Staffs are very friendly as well!

It will be perfect if the washroom door in my room can be changed. The door looks like old age and the lock is a bit loose. Other than this, everything is good!

nice staff and good location. the are very nice and even bring you chocolate to the room

the bathroom is horrible. if you take a shower, everything gets wet. and you don't have space to sit down on the toilet and not enough toilet paper.we had 2 times breakfast, one time it was horrible and one time it was good

Very reasonably priced, good location near the beach, comfy beds and decent air conditioning. When we checked out earlier than originally planned (see below for the reasons why) they quickly arranged a refund for the days not taken to be fair. .

Even at the budget price, some things need improving. If the things below were addressed this could be a great little place, and it wouldn't cost a lot to get it there. Firstly, the breakfast, which is taken in the cafe next door, was poor. You get the choice of one meal each and that's your lot. The man on the counter was also far more interested in what was on his phone than serving guests, or putting out glasses for the juice or cups for the coffee maker when they ran out. The WiFi isn't great, and kept dropping out, and the TV in our room didn't work. They also have a policy of not allowing you any more than one toilet roll at a time! Even if your roll had hardly any sheets left they wouldn't give you another - we found that bizarre, and a bit mean really, so we ended up buying our own toilet rolls to ensure we wouldn't get caught short, and had breakfast out after the second day. The bathroom needed a bit of TLC and the sliding door didn't lock, or fully cover the aperture. Finally, there are only 4 sunbeds around the pool! It's only a small place, and the pool is only quite small anyway, but I'd expect more than that for a place with around 20 guest rooms. All this really compromised our stay I'm afraid, and we checked out 3 days earlier than planned. I wouldn't stay here again if I was revisiting Pantai Cenang.

Great location and lovely staff. Daily chocolate delivered to the room by housekeeping. The pool was a very welcome feature in such a hot climate.

Stairs to the room were very steep with no lift. Room was very basic and quite small but still very clean.

The room was spacious for two persons. Clean and comfortable to stay.

The internet connection very slow and netflix always buffering. And the breakfast only one meal per person. Not buffet.

The staff were extremely helpful and understanding when we had to extend our checkout time due to a delay in our morning program.

It’s a stylish hotel situated in the hub of things.

There is a mold issue in the bathroom which makes the whole room smell.

    Pool was dissapointing

The location was good if you want to stay near Pantai Cenang. Some of the reception staff are nice, I feel bad that they need to work in such conditions.

Check-in was delayed, setting us off to a bad start. The images from the rooms are heavily edited. Overall they are very dirty and run down, with damaged trim, stained surfaces and stained towels and linen throughout. The bathroom window mechanisms are broken in most rooms and the window are stuck in the open position, meaning you hear non stop noise from outside and you are attacked by insects entering your room at night. This is made worse due to the lack of a door between the bathroom and suite, only a sliding panel that isn't sealed is between the rooms. The door to the patio also has broken locks, preventing it from being closed fully and it rattles constantly. Overall noise is an issue. There was a physical hole in our bed and tears along the base, a simple valance sheet would have covered it. The towels were stained, and we had to use most of them to stuff our own windows having picked up this trick from other reviewers. The breakfast is cooked from frozen items and does not include breakfast staples such as a fresh coffee or juice. They don't realise that they can split their own tables into 2x2 seaters instead of 4 seats, eliminating the unnecessary queue for seats outside given that most people there are in 2's.During the housekeeping, the housekeepers used our dirty towels to dry the clean cups and plates in our room.

This has been our best accommodation whilst in Malaysia - and we have travel all over the country. Great location, fantastic staff. The room is a lovely design and very appealing to the eye. The breakfast in the cafe next door also has great staff and food prepared very well.A great hotel that fully deserves its rating.

The WiFi was a little temperamental at times - but you had a choice of channels. Sun loungers would benefit from having cushions.

The most sincere and helpful members of staff I have encountered in Malaysia, Karim, really stood out from the rest, but every member of staff was exceptional. The hotel was in a good state of repair, very open, with high ceilings and lots of airflow. Our room was exceptional—very large with plenty of space for our bags and belongings. The room was tastefully decorated with a decent-sized bed and great air conditioning. The bathroom was a decent size, and there was a balcony. The location was excellent, not too far from the beach and close to all the restaurants and cafes. It was not noisy at all considering the location. The breakfast was decent and the serving staff were just as sincere and caring as the rest of the staff we met. The hotel is spotless.

The only bit of criticism I would give is the shower. The bathroom has not been designed well. The shower faces the bathroom door, which makes entering and exiting the bathroom after a shower a little troublesome. Everything gets wet in there, and it's just not a good use of the space. But having said that, it's not a deal breaker. You just have to get used to the fact that when you step into the bathroom, you are stepping into the shower first.

The only good thing about this place is it's proximity to the beach, literally on the other side of the streetStaff was also nice, except one woman

1.My room looked NOTHING like in the pictures, the room was small with terrible rusty, moldy bathroom2. Breafkast was a joke, served in the next door bar, very few options, and you can only choose one small portion per person. Included coffee is instant, so if you want good one from the machine you have to pay3. No elevator4. Wifi touch and go5. No closet, only hanger6. Technically room service comes twice a day, but they still don't clean properly- floor was dirty, the spiderwebs that I found hanging from the ceiling on the first day were still there on the last 7. Very thin walls, also every day about 6.30 calling for a prayer from a nearby mosque woke me up8. Bed lining smelled like someone slept in it before me, towels were very worn down9. There is a small pool in the back, but kids IN THEIR CLOTHES swim in it, which I think should be forbidden, also it's impossible to relax on the sunbed because there's no mattress on it, just hard wood, so after 5 minutes your back hurts like hell

Great location, just a couple of minutes from the beach. The room and interiors were awesome—really cool, minimalist, and modern design that I loved.

The pool was quite small and shallow. The breakfast options could be more diverse. The AC unit is positioned directly above the bed (this seems common in Langkawi hotels, but fortunately, the room was spacious enough for me to move the bed).
