Orchid Riverview Hotel

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean.

We were disappointed with the breakfast. For a tropical country should’ve had more fruit. Some granola or muesli would’ve been nice. The option of having scrambled eggs or an omelet would be nice.

I stayed there for 6 nights so consider it on my review . It’s more like suggestions than anything . I really like the hotel facilities and room. It’s big enough, good mattress, a small balcony, fridge and kettle, pool, gym and breakfast. The room service was amazing, the cleaning lady came smiling everyday and made it pristine .

Front desk ladies are not the most friendly, different from other staff, cleaning, restaurant etc. all very nice. The shower pressure is a bit odd, it goes on and off, a bit weird. You may want to check room 423.Other than that I only have suggestions to improve long stays: provide some cutlery and two small plates.It would also be nice to have a small chair in the balcony.Breakfast could have more western options. Eating fried egg and white bread for 6 days was tough, but I can’t eat traditional Thai food in the morning either .Omelete, scrambled egg and different bread types would be so nice . Some yogurt tooAs I said everything else was exceptional!

The best thing is the cafe nearby, Brix-Kono. The pool was great for the kids, and a simple room for fitness workout)

No coffee ( in the room there is a kettle only), no mini bar, no laundry- so we were totally depending on outside services which was inconvenient for a family

Rooms cleaned every day, friendly staff

Misses on some things like a safe for valuables in your room and some drawers to put clothes in for longer stays

Location is nice

We saw a cockroach in the room and so many ants in the room, The hotel accused us of loosing the towel even though we didn’t lose it and they charged us for 350 bath for poor towel. Not recommended this hotel

Location was great, close to everything we needed. Rooms were very clean, good continental breakfast

Close to a great exercise park, night Market, laundromat, Train Station, Airport,. Nice day trips to saline Hotsprings, Dan Sak pier to Koh Sumai, national parks, etc.

We were pleased with our experience. We don’t have anything to say that is negative.

Shower

Good Location. It’s at the center of Suratthani Province. We can access to the hotel from many ways, through the city or avoid the traffic in the city. Easy parking, wide space at lobby. Foods at BF has good taste.

The power of the water pipe is too light. We don’t feel good while taking shower.

Clean modern enough hotel. Ideal for a one night stay before boat to the islands

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location make up for the average breakfast. Great value for money!

So perfectly clean and modern! Great staff, nice pool, beautiful hotel. Coffee machine at breakfast with delicious coffee. Bed very comfortable, we slept like babies. And the room had a small balconie which is also a big plus.

Location - to go to town you have to cross a bridge (which is beautiful at night!) but not so convenient, especially if you are staying at the hotel with kids. Also breakfast could have more variety.

I have an expat in Thailand. This is my regular stay when passing through this town. Clean and comfortable with good parking.

If you don’t have your own transport can be a bit of a walk into town for the night Market

Very clean hotel, the cleanest that we've been this holidays. Good swimming pool, room is just normal hotel room with a little balcony to dry clothes. All around the hotel you have good food options. And 2 minimart just 50m .

Breakfast was ok, not a lot of choice, but gor the price (30€ per night Breakfast included) it's great value for money.

Breakfast for Europeans is a bit poor, Parking was great. I really appreciated the town.

The hotel is quite modern. The staff is friendly. If you come by car, then you have a huge parking lot in front of the hotel. I think the nicest restaurant in town is in walking distance.

The hotel is too far away from the city center. If you want to walk there you have to cross a steep bridge with small pedestrian path. Difficult to get a taxi from there. Staff does not know where to buy boat tickets to Samui or the other islands. My room had a balcony, but the door was too narrow to put out a chair.
